He had my hands so tightly bound that I was unable to move a single finger. I was thrilled to see my grandmother coming. Even in the early morning twilight, I could tell that she was my grandmother. ~°°°ENDLESS LOVE; FOREVER CRY°°°~

(BY ANDERSON MUSYOKI)

~~*****PROLOGUE*****~~

I looked at the callous man, whom I hesitantly referred to as my father. Sincerity be damned, I couldn't identify the cause of his animosity toward me. He glanced at me briefly before carrying on with his task. He carried a plow in his arms and the spade was next to him. Furthermore, he shoveled dirt away from the hole he had dug as my grave and sighed deeply.

When he measured my height and compared it to the grave's, that's when I knew he wasn't drunk. Thinking about how a parent could be so callous toward his child made me incredibly anxious. Trust me, had done nothing wrong apart from what he regarded I was born differently. He sometimes referred to me as his cursed child. He had my hands so tightly bound that I was unable to move a single finger.

I was thrilled to see my grandmother coming. Even in the early morning twilight, I could tell that she was my grandmother. She glanced at me before directing her attention to my father.

“Say your last prayer,” she shouted. When I needed her assistance, I was shocked to see her publicly reject me. I started to perspire, a lot when I heard her criticism of me.

“If you survive, you will ruin our reputation,” My father glared at me fiercely and yelled, “I shall have to get rid of you as soon as I can, and today is your last day.”

Chapter 1: Too Innocent To Die!

“What? You aren't a woman?” My husband suddenly got dressed and yelled, “You are neither a man nor a woman!” I wasn't sure what to say. Laying naked on my bed with my eyes wide open, I sighed heavily. It happened soon after our wedding. More rapidly than I anticipated, he disappeared from my sight, holding his shirt in his arms. He bagged the door heavily. I quickly dressed my nakedness and followed him.

“Brenda! Brenda! Mom!” I overheard him calling my mother-in-law. Being unaware of what was happening made me anxious.

“Yes! Barman, is that you? Why are you shouting at night, darling?” Brenda said as she left her room, “I think you ought to be busy enjoying yourself with your newlywed bride.” Before I joined them, I hung around on the stairs for a while, watching them. For minutes, unsure of what to say, my spouse stumbled.

“Mom! Mom! She is not a woman. She fibbed to me!” screamed, Barman. My mother-in-law, who was standing hopelessly and wide-eyed, caught my attention as I turned to face her. Her expressions disclosed how awful she was feeling. She struggled to control herself. My hubby accuses me of lying to him, which caught me off, guard. Because of how extensively I cared for him, I could never abandon him.

Brenda instantly bent over and exclaimed, “You mean… You mean you married a trans… Trans… Transgender?”

Eighteen years earlier…

My father, with the assistance of my grandma, tossed me into the graze before considering what to do, and they then started to cover it with soil. I tightened so much that I was unable to yell for help. Was he my biological father? Yes, I think so. I was most troubled by that query, but it wasn't significant for the moment. My hands made a tiny gap through which I gazed at them, but quickly I was completely enveloped in darkness. In my mind, I was in hell.

“Mom, that foolish kid is out of our way. Now, I believe, we may have fun without being concerned about our reputation,” my father yelled, “She's gone, gone forever!” While I was briefly buried without a casket, that was the last voice I heard.

“Emily! Emily! To what had you subjected her? I'll slice off your heads if you don't move back! Why are you such a heartless person?” Someone inquired, “Where is my child?!” I recognized her voice when I paid close attention. It was my mother's voice. She yelled at them and shoved the dirt away from the grave, threatening them. The worst thing I went through was being buried alive. Breathing was nearly impossible because my nose was filled with dirt.

“Have you lost it? I've told you this before, but how many times do I need to? Move on! You are too unlucky, woman! Do you not believe that what I'm doing is right? This is your third time guarding this cursed child,” my father yelled. I could see how my mother had to contend with them both to preserve my life a third time. Being buried alive was nothing new to me. I was cursed! Why am I still so despised at such a young age?

“It's you who that is crazy! Go away! I'll murder you if you step ahead,” she shouted back. She dug up the grave and dragged me out. Subsequently, she cleaned my clothing of any dirt and embraced me tightly.

I was thrilled to see her save me from death's snares once more. I spun around to face my grandfather and father, who were both staring at me in disbelief. They didn't anticipate anyone would witness their cruel act. Burying a living soul wasn't fair!

“Oh, God! Please have mercy on my child. Why do you let my child endure pain? Why do you allow these horrible begins to survive?” Looking at the clouds, my mother prayed, “I will be glad to see them dead rather than them killing my child.” I had no choice, but to cry to relieve my powerless body. I wasn't dead, which was the finest thing.

“Mom, how is this possible? This evil woman saves her every time we attempt to take her life! I'm so ashamed I married such an idiotic woman! Mom, I don't deserve this woman to be my wife anymore. When the villagers find out that our child is cursed, she won't care about our reputation!” my cruel father growled. The veins on his forehead revealed that he was upset. My grandmother remained by him, unsure of what to do. Her expressionless face revealed how angry she was as well. I was alarmed when she suddenly opened her eyes wide.

“Thank you, Lord! I'm grateful you kept my child alive. Thank you!” prayed my mother, as she knelt beside my alleged grave. Tears began to fall down my icy cheeks as I stared at her. She touched my heart by being so kind towards me despite being wretched.

“Yes, this woman is gullible! With bare hands, how is it possible to hold a cursed child? She no longer deserves to be let inside my house,” my grandma shouted, “Enough is enough!” She went to her room Presently after yelling in pain. It started to rain. Water began to overflow into my so-called grave. For some time, my father just stood there and glared at us. My mother prayed and then turned to face him.

“God has blessed me with this child. I will kill whoever tries to hurt her! I oath to keep her safe until I die. Do you get it? She is my entire existence!” My mother, with enthusiasm, said and added, “I will kill you!” Her courage in facing my abusive father caught me off, guard. I was afraid he could turn on us and hack off our heads. He remained silent for a long time as he stood there aimlessly.

My father screamed at us, “You will soon perish with your cursed child!” my mum ignored his meaningless threats. As she walked home with my hand in hers. I was shocked by my father's cowardice since I didn't think I would survive for another time. My dad gave us a final glance before we left. He took one look at my tomb before scurrying away.

Chapter 2. The Narrow Escape 1

~~~°°~~**~~~
I was shocked to find my mum packing up her possessions when we got home. I found it most upsetting because my mother had nowhere else to go. Years ago, his mother passed away, and his father later wed another evil woman. With sobs, she packed her possessions while soaking her clothes. She, fortunately, had nothing else, but her countable clothing, which she packed quickly. I overheard my father frantically opening the door. I shook as I turned to look into his wide-open eyes standing in the doorway. He took two strides forward before slamming me to the ground and grabbing my mother angrily.
“How indiscreet of you to bring this child into my room. How many times do you need me to reiterate that? You will learn a lesson from me that you will never forget!” My mother was given a smack on her gorgeous face by my father. Afte
