Chapter 1 You are not still a virgin, are you?

Emily slept with her boss, right after the annual company party ended.

When she woke up, she stared at her boss's exposed eight-pack abs and swallowed hard. "Am I… about to get fired?"

Her boss gave her a cold look. "We'll get married. I'll take responsibility."

Emily was shocked!

Have CEOs become this traditional? Sleep with someone once, and you have to tie the knot?

"Emily, you're 26 already. Don't tell me... you're still a virgin?"

The teasing from her friends at the party kept echoing in Emily's mind.

Born single, she'd never had a relationship with a man—she hadn't even had her first kiss.

It wasn't because Emily was ugly or plain and people avoided her. On the contrary, Emily was very pretty, with a kind of pure and classic beauty. She had long, flowing brown hair, flawless skin, a delicate nose, lightly red lips, and deep blue eyes like the ocean. When she smiled, dimples appeared on her cheeks, adding an extra touch of cuteness.

From middle school onward, Emily never lacked admirers. Many were handsome or wealthy young men, but she had never dated any of them, keeping all suitors at arm's length because she simply felt nothing for them. Of course, this was something only she knew.

Because she didn't dare to tell the truth, she drank a few more glasses of wine and used the excuse of being drunk to head back to her room to rest.

She swiped her room card for ages, but the door wouldn't open.

Emily's slightly tipsy face grew more frustrated. She eventually banged her head against the door in exasperation, unexpectedly managing to open it by the impact.

Standing before her, with his chiseled features still somewhat threatening, was Matthew.

Hey! What was Mr. Williams doing in her room?

Emily, dazed, looked at the handsome man before her, as if in a dream. She suddenly remembered the first time she met Mr. Williams; she had joined the company as an assistant to his secretary to help manage the CEO's daily affairs, arrange meetings, and handle communications. One morning, she had seen Mr. Williams in the CEO's office, standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking down at the city below. When he turned around, Emily was stunned, captivated by the cold and melancholic aura of the man before her, feeling a sense of fate, as if she had been waiting her whole life for his appearance, making her gaze turn vacant.

"Do you like what you see?" That was the first thing Mr. Williams said to her. Emily snapped out of it, her face turning as red as a ripe tomato as she avoided his gaze, forgetting even to introduce herself.

Mr. Williams didn't pursue her rudeness; seeing her reaction instead amused him. He had never encountered such a pure girl, and her actions were so genuine that he felt a hint of fondness towards her.

"Do you like what you see?" Matthew's dark eyes narrowed slightly, his voice low as he asked Emily.

Matthew was a mixed-race man, with a quarter Asian blood. He had brown hair, sharp facial features, and deep black eyes that looked at her like an unfathomable abyss, both frightening and mesmerizing.

His voice, slightly hoarse, carried a different undercurrent to the same words.

"Mmh..." Emily blinked and responded directly.

Her soft, delicate murmur even had a hint of nasal twang.

Seeing the once unreachable man suddenly before her, she remembered Ashley’s words while fantasizing over his photo.

A man like Mr. Williams, tall, handsome, and apparently very adept in bed—as Ashley put it.

Licking her lips, the heat inside Emily flared up even more.

If she couldn’t have him in real life, why not in a dream?

She wanted to see just how good a lover Matthew could be.

Emily lunged at him, kicking the door closed with her high-heeled leg.

"Mr. Williams, they say the women who get to sleep with you must have saved the galaxy in their past lives. I want to find out."

Their eyes locked. The air temperature immediately surged as if set ablaze.

Matthew had had quite a bit to drink tonight, and a wicked fire surged through his body. With a soft woman clinging to him, he didn’t refuse.

"Want it? Mmm?" Matthew pressed his handsome face closer, hot breath blowing on her cheek, staring at her with deep eyes from up close.

"Mmh." Emily obediently and sweetly responded.

Her slightly intoxicated eyes, misty and beautiful like a fairy, just stared at Matthew.

This face, even better looking than at the office.

Emily giggled foolishly, her eyes traveling from his beautiful brows to his high bridge nose, landing on his thin lips, which were lightly panting.

Subconsciously licking her lips, her gaze changed from alluring to pure and innocent, meeting Matthew’s eyes once again.

Such a straightforward invitation—how could Matthew not understand?

He flipped the situation around, grabbing Emily’s waist and pinning her against the wall.

Holding her small hand against his dress pants, his low voice, already hoarse, added, “Undo them for me.”

Before Emily could respond, he captured her lips.

It was her first kiss, and she was easily coaxed open by his aggressive yet tender movements, exploring deeper and deeper.

Her heart pounded faster and faster.

Such a soft, overbearing kiss, it felt as real as any.

Her entire body felt a tingling sensation, like an electric current running through, and she obediently undid his buttons, unzipping his pants.

Might be because it’s a dream, Emily thought it didn’t hurt; instead, it felt quite good.

Under Matthew’s encouragement, she learned to please him actively.

Who would’ve thought, a usually cold and strict Matthew could be a gentleman in bed, though his endurance was formidable, leaving her almost unable to take it.

The next day.

Emily was half-awake, half-asleep.

She heard someone knocking and entering.

Emily frowned; how could a spring dream feel so real?

And she seemed to hear Matthew’s voice.

Something felt off. Emily opened her eyes.

The first thing she saw was Matthew, wrapped in a bath towel, walking towards her.

His broad shoulders and narrow waist, topped with abs that one just wanted to touch, and those V-lines disappearing under the towel.

Emily was stunned.

Memories flooded her mind, each scene more explicit than the last, making her face turn crimson and pale in turns.

“Mr. Williams, why are you here! Last night, we… we…”

She repeated "we" twice, but the rest of her words stuck in her throat.

Matthew’s dark eyes lowered at her flushed, panicked face. “What do you want to ask?”

“I mean, about last night…we…” she stammered.

“We slept together.”

His simple words landed like a bomb in Emily’s mind.

Holding onto a last shred of hope, Emily asked again, “Did we… did we…”

“Yes, we did.”

Emily gasped, eyes widened in shock.

Matthew stared at her with his deep gaze. “Regret it?”

That’s hard to answer...

The first time with a tall, handsome, well-built gentleman, it was indeed a great experience.

But sleeping with my boss—it’s so awkward.

“Mr. Williams, I was drunk last night, I don’t remember much. And we’re all adults, let’s just move on from this and go back to how things were.”

Matthew watched her, an amused smile playing on his lips. “You’re still in my bed, and you want to move on just like that?”

Emily accidentally glimpsed the hickey on his collarbone, pulling the blanket around her tighter. “Then turn around while I get dressed.”

Instead of looking away, Matthew climbed back onto the bed.

Stunned, Emily tried to back away, but he grabbed her hand, pinning it above her head.

In their struggle, the blanket slipped down to her waist.

Skin-to-skin, a tingling sensation spread through Emily, making her shiver.

“Mr. Williams, you!”

Her heart pounded faster and faster, feeling like her face was emitting heat.

He was so heavy.

And this position, how humiliating. Matthew’s tightly controlled expression only made him sexier in Emily’s eyes.

“Didn’t you say you didn’t remember? Let me help you recall, hmm?” Matthew’s eyes locked onto Emily beneath him.

Emily’s flushed face didn’t know where to look; by accident, she saw his taut muscles, instantly bringing back memories of his considerable size.

Once the gates of desire were breached, it was hard to control them. Even for a novice like Emily.

With that, Matthew’s body, brimming with testosterone, pressed down on her again.

He bent down, biting into the white skin of her collarbone.

Emily let out a soft cry.

"Mr. Williams!" Emily tried to stop him.

Before she could finish speaking, her wet eyes widened, the remaining sound turning into a muffled moan.

Emily, maybe just waking up, felt this man was a bit aggressive; she couldn’t take it for long.

Today was the last day of the annual meeting; after lunch, they’d head back to the office. Emily, afraid of being found out by colleagues, urged Matthew in a rush.

“Faster…”

“Alright.” Matthew quickened his pace, making Emily feel like she was falling apart.

“Not that fast!”

She was losing it.

But soon, she bit her lip, not allowing herself to make those embarrassing sounds.

Just as they entangled on the bed, a knock came from the door outside, followed by laughter from several higher-ups and directors.

“Mr. Williams, lunch is ready. After the meal, we’ll head back to the company.”

Emily clung to the lifeline. “Mr. Williams, hurry, we can’t let others find out.”

Panicked, Emily had lost the carefree abandon of the drunken night before.

Interrupted, Matthew looked a bit displeased.

He got off the bed, reached over to the side table to grab the phone, and dialed a number.

The doorbell outside rang.

Emily seized the chance, holding the blanket and noticing her torn clothes. She saw a white paper bag with women’s clothes inside at the bedside; she grabbed it and tooth-and-sneakily went to the bathroom.

“You all go ahead. I’ll join you shortly.” Matthew hung up the phone; the noise outside died down a bit.

Emily dressed as swiftly as she could.

Once done, another phone rang in the room.

Matthew, fastening his belt, answered the phone.

Emily saw the phone he was holding—it was hers!

Panicked, Emily leaped forward, steps a bit too wide, making her sore legs give out midway, causing her to fall.

Seeing her tumble, Matthew secured her body with one hand, still talking on the phone, while steadying her with the other.

“Hello?”

Emily, not caring about anything else, grabbed the phone and hung up.

Seeing “Ashley” on the screen, Emily’s mind buzzed.

Downstairs, in front of Emily’s room, Ashley and the colleagues exchanged bewildered looks.

“Hey, why did a man answer Emily’s phone!? And his voice, it seemed so deep and magnetic, like Mr. Williams'.”

Chapter 2 Then get married. I'll take responsibility.

Emily looked at her phone, which was ringing again with Ashley's name on the screen, and she felt like a startled bird.

"What do I do? What do I do? Ashley and the others must be suspicious." Emily, usually calm, was flustered for the first time, unsure how to handle the situation.

Her pure, pretty face was clouded with worry.

Matthew reached out and took the phone from her hand.

"What are you doing?" Emily's face scrunched up in fear, immediately frowning in refusal.

"I'll handle it," Matthew said, trying to take Emily's phone.

Reluctantly, Emily let go of the phone, unable to contend with the man's calm and imposing aura.

"Don't say anything stupid…"

Emily watched anxiously as Matthew answered the call.

"Hello, this is Matthew. I found this phone last night and will have my assistant return it. As for her…" Matthew's cold black eyes brushed over Emily's pure, pretty face.

Emily held her breath, her wide eyes staring at Ma
