The love story between Latla and Danny is sweet and heart warming . He has always been in love with her and despite seriously messing up when they were younger he has remained steadfast and patiently waited for her to grow up and realise that her feelings for him have never gone away . They are helped along the way by well meanig family and friends , all of whom are fairly well defined characters . So far all the obstacles in the way of their relationship running smoothly have been dealt with easily it will be interesting to see if things continue along the same lines in the rest of the novel . So far so good , an easy read with likeable characters and humour and action in equal measure .
