The CEO's Second Choice Reviews
Cynthia Ann Williams
Who doesn't love murder, money and everlasting love? I read the whole story which I never do because I feel like they usually drawn out so I read the free chapters get the general gist then skip to the back and read the last two! I was sad to learn who the villain of the story was purely for sentimental reasons! However, I was glad that the two rivals became trusted friends in the end! Although, the number of sexual assaults surprised me no one should be victimized in that manner! I did appreciate the life lessons about discerning true friendships and relationships and above all else being true and honest to yourself!

Loving this book although i am a little concerned as to the development of this relationship with Elijah, something seems off about the whole scenario. The relationship with her husband seems so delightful and so loving that it feels like true romance from their initial meeting to the presence that I wouldn't enjoy this novel any where as much if is fractured. I hope the writer isn't just bulking the story out with this angle, if she does I won't bother finishing the book.

Mesmerising and addictive! Can’t put it down …. Love the unique plot and how the author’s unusual approach with the storyline. Also the humor injected into the storytelling keeps it interesting! Bravo and hope the author keeps up the great storytellings. Hmmmm Sebastian, Elijah n Issac the yummy trio! Despite the many endless heartaches, dramas and pain, Elena is one lucky soul with all the insecurities she has, with the support esp from Sebastian, Elijah n Issac. 5 stars from me. A Jane Austen fan myself, I can totally understand Elena’s love of for literature.

This book was a little corny but it had some great twists and turns that left me wondering and quite surprised at different points. I ended up thoroughly enjoying this book! There wasn't a over the top amount of sex in the book and along with that, the sex scenes that were part of the book, were not full of swearing and profanity. I don't know what else to write but there is a minimum number of words to be able to post a review, so I'm still writing and writing and writing. Hahaha. What a way to fill the page.

Slow burning, but well developed. I think the thing I like the most here is the fact the author fully spreads the characters way of thinking and it’s really interesting to read that. I find that the characters may have made choices a bit too quickly or fall in love quickly and it’s just a bit too hunky dory but… they are all polite (aside Nicolas) there are good conflicts internal conflicts and the willingness to move ahead which I admire.

So far, the book has been so captivating and full of lessons. I wonder how a parent would just show likeness to one child over the other. Making the less-loved know that they are not wanted. It's high time for every parent to bear in mind that each child is a gift from God and must try their best to show love to such children because such of person may find solace and love in heart of strangers or someone who is not their relative. I want to say kudos to the writer. More grease to your elbow.

LOVED IT! Easy to read, great characters and story line. Not to long and great jumps between chapters but never leave you feeling like you missed some thing Almost thought you forgot about Elaina and Robert’s baby, when it all came to light. Would not she have been put in some sort of foster care and both parents, parental right revoked? Especially after both parents were in jail for murder Would it not confuse Morgan to call Sebastian uncle instead of dad if she was calling Elena mom?

It was such a pleasure to read this novel. Well written and I enjoyed the twsit in the plot. It was an easy read and I could bot put it down. Both the main characters are my favourite. It was such a sweet story, with lots of intrique. Well worth the cokns spend. Wish a lot more books were available from this author. Nice experience not to have to struggle through a bad translation. Will be looking for more nivels like this.

I liked how they grew to love each other. Saddened by her twin sister though. I loved Isaac’s character. Glad he turned out to be her half brother too. Really liked Elijah. Was saddened by his lost love. Loved the places they visited and the setting in England. I could picture the places that were mentioned in England as I visited there two different times in my life. Absolutely love England! Wish the story had been longer…oh well
