I enjoyed the characters and the plot. It had some unexpected twists that kept you enthralled. I could not wait to read each chapter to see what would happen next. The loving and protective relationship between mother and son was special. At times I felt the son to be more mature than the age he was supposed to be, but it did say he was gifted. The extended families interference and controlling nature played a big factor in the stories twist and turns. Great read.
