It an amazing book and I loved every second of reading it! I was so happy that Riley was found and wasn’t hurt. I also loved that Olivia finally gave Alexander a chance and they ended up living happily ever after! It was the perfect way to end the story with the kids being involved. I would absolutely read this book again. Thank you author for the wonderful story and I hope to read another one of your pieces of work.

The book is a little slow. I feel it’s far fetched that a husband could be in love with his wife and would do something as stupid as meet with his ex girlfriend and give the ex a very expensive necklace. Especially since his wife’s insecurity was because of his ex. Sandra is a terrible friend if you could even call her a friend. I have a feeling her son is not even Alexander’s. Plus Olivia’s parents were unbelievably mean and heartless.

After everything, I think Olivia is the most selfish and self-centered person. They divorced for lack of communication but the way she didn't even acknowledge Alex for some months before divorce says it all. Alex is aldo stupid for not talking to her but pulling a stunt like that. And then Olivia just jumps from one guy to another, Alex just does what his father tells him to do... It is like childrens play, so immature. And this part about Riley was absolutely unnecessary because I still want to know more about Mason and her, it is incomplete.

It’s a really good story. I am a little confused as to why he asked for the divorce in the first place-There are a few unexpected twists in the plot that make it exciting and keeps you on your toes! Was surprised about the ex in California and that Sandra slept with her ex and had a baby. Cannot wait to read the rest to see where her relationship goes. Whether she stays in California or goes back to New York. Ethan or Alexander? I don’t know which one I like better.

Good story. Some parts were a little over the top. Too many coincidences and strange turns. There were also some typos and word choices that didn’t make sense. It is nice that Riley was able to go on date with Mason. Overall a good story and enjoyed reading it. Olivia is a warm trusting person and didn’t deserve what Sandra did. It is hard to believe that Alexander would behave in some of ways portrayed in story. The ex-girlfriend was a piece of work and didn’t deserve Alexander’s attention.

It’s totally a miscommunication situation between Alex and his wife, Olivia. In a real world , they should have cleared the air asap and not let the situation escalate.Take a break from work, go for a trip to reconnect. I enjoyed the novel, many times I find they have missed the opportunity to solve their marital problems. It is heartbreaking when your best friend is part of the problem! I am half way tru and hoping for a happy ending for Alex and Olivia . 🙏🏻

A few unexpected turns in the story. Cant wait to get to next chapter. Will they get back together? Will she return to Newyork? Its really exciting to follow. Hours of reading and time flies. I think personally she should take Alexander back. Give him a second chance. Forget about Sandra. We will have to continue reading to figure out what is going to happen. And why is Riley so stand ofish with her father? Protecting her feelings like Mommy maybe?

I think it was the right thing to tell him about the kids and let him see them they both loved each other at some point but hearing about her best friend and her ex was triggering for her and I feel bad but I’m starting to think the boy may not be his but maybe he is idk but I don’t think she should give him another chance after everything they have been through with each other

Characters will stay with me long after I finished. The writer has a wonderful way of weaving you right into the threads of the family and you quickly become an advocate for Bud. Somewhat reminds me of A Prayer for Owen Meany where you could not help but love the main character and cheer for him throughout the book. I'm strongly opposed to violence and some of the situations were hard to read but through it all, I was right there in this story. Bud and Ry will stay with me for quite a while.- I purposely slowed down reading the final chapters as I didn't want the story to end. Hopefully a sequel is in the works!!!
