Cold Showers

The general plot was interesting but more so for the beginning half of the book. The last 10-15 chapters just dragged on and weren’t worth the $. The vocabulary and sentence structure, and verb tense made it obvious it was either not written by a native English writer or it was AI generated. It just didn’t translate smoothly to me and l wished it had been proofread before being made available. I could figure out what was meant but it really bugged me. I honestly would not recommend this. It wasn’t worth my time or $ reflecting back on what l got out of it. Very predictable and a bit too contrived. I didn’t think the characters were very well developed although some of that was due to the odd way it was written, as the dialogue was also weirdly phrased and structured. AlphaNovel would be well served to have their books proofread and corrected if written either by AI or a non native English language writer/speaker, however this one was written, before putting it on the website!
