Cold Showers Reviews

This was one of the BEST books I’ve read! I laughed and cried while reading it. I loved how the author presented real life scenarios and how real people that love each other are willing to fight for one another. I just loved how the author showed true friendship. Friendship that was closer than blood siblings. Husbands and wives must always put each other first. You might have disagreements, but the love that you share will always remain the same. I’m just blown away by this book! I LOVE happy endings.👏🏽

I read Cold Showers in one evening and over night. I enjoyed reading it, though after all the trouble and anxieties through much of the book, I kept waiting for another shoe to drop! I would have liked more explanation before plot twists so I could understand where the story was going and I wouldn’t be afraid that another problem was coming their way. I did like the fact they prayed together and thanked God they were blessed. I wish continued success for the author.

I absolutely loved this story. It seemed to be exactly how real life was. I’m glad I read it. It makes me believe in love again. I love that the siblings are so good to each other. The only thing I hate is I have to write 80 words here just to give a review. The book is definitely worth paying for though. I love the name of the kids in the story and how they stayed close with their friends most people don’t do that now.

I really liked this novel the story was tense, drama filed, with the main characters winning all the way around. was rooting for Sebastian the entire time. love rules even with all the twists you never saw coming or even imagined could happen. men really need to keep it wrapped up to prevent accidents from happening....... I normally do not write reviews but like I said I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and it was a fun read, even with the errors

This was a fun novel. I enjoyed the intertwining lives of the family, friends & coworkers. It was great to read about multigenerational, successful women, who seemed to know they didn't have to sacrifice everything they worked towards to get or please a guy. The men were surprising. The author created the lead male character with all of the arrogance often found in men in various novels. While definitely flawed in his thinking & reactions, I'm glad the author surrounded him with men that spoke truth and positivity, as well as kept him honest. With the occasional twists, the novel does not take advantage of the reader and kept the storyline moving. It allowed me to experience different feelings based on the circumstances. I appreciated the fact that even though there were several instances of hurt and confusion, the author allowed the characters to depict authentically owning their role and that forgiveness was possible and healing. Lastly, in this day and time where so much negativity bombards us daily, I truly liked reading a story that cast positivity and allowed me to have a nice getaway into fantasy.

I have been enjoying while reading this book but I don’t like to wait for points to be able to continue reading and again to wait to be able to read again but book was interesting and fun to read and I am so sorry that it has been the end I hope that I can continue reading books that are similar to this book and that are not longer and that are just as good and fun as this book

It was an okay read. You could definitely tell English isn’t the author’s first language, as there were quite a few grammar mistakes and some unusual word choices throughout the book. The story was fairly straightforward and lacked the depth I was hoping for, especially when it came to character development and emotional impact. Many of the conflicts were resolved far too easily, with major issues seemingly brushed aside or forgotten. The characters moved on unrealistically quickly, making some situations feel unconvincing. Overall, I found the story somewhat simplistic and underdeveloped.

I did enjoy this book very much especially the beginning, but the dramatics tapered off and became all HEA I was anticipating an abortion scene where he got all domineering and possessive and locked her or something. But Jayda didn’t pull any punches and made sure he wasn’t going to that to her and when he found out she was a good woman. That was better! Well to finalize this was a good entertaining read. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

I loved that the story had the right length. The story itself was lovely, the right amount of spice and vanilla. It was easy to follow both head people in their emotions and how they act. If I have enything to say against the story is, they took the boy by heart but the mother was not really there. Why was she not at the wedding with her boy and maybe her boyfriend too. She was very large to let them take away her boy every weekend without any saying. Tell him that they love him too. I loved the story but something was missing.

The story line was great, loved the detail and thought put into the details throughout the beginning, towards the end it was as if the author was just ready for the book to end. Wasn’t terrible, but it started losing detail and seemed like it was just time to end the book. Still really enjoyed the story line and was excited to continue reading to find out the rest of the story if you will, but it was much easier to put down towards the end. Thank you for a great read.
