Although this book started out well, when Shelia came into the picture, the story become unclear. Peter became a pawn instead of a leader. George’s character went from weak to overbearing in regard to Shelia. What happened to Natalie’s husband? He seemed to disappear. Lotus was set on revenge, but there was no real development of this idea. There were several plot developments that never made any sense. The character Elvis was introduced and it was emptied he would solve the hidden areas, but he was rarely mentioned again. I rushed to get through to the ending hoping for more development between Lotus, Peter, and their children.
