I loved this book. It started of a little testy, but became full of intrigue, awareness, growth ,romance and betrayal. Some death was expected but seemed necessary for the support of the story to seem real for the era. It was well written. The descriptions were beautifully expressed. I could truly picture it in my minds eye. It made it more intense and thrilling. I had trouble putting it down. Life does go on though now doesn't it. I look forward to reading more of this author's stories.
