Det händer saker hela tiden som man inte har kunnat förutse. Man blir även ganska frustrerad lite då och då av hur illa behandlad Brea blir och hur orättvis det är mot henne. Man allt man från veta från hur hon växte upp, hennes erfarenheter, situationer och tankar och känslor gör att man får en förståelse hur hon blev den hon är. Berättelsen är lagom med då, nu och tankar och känslor. Inget av det känns uttjatat. Det är inte bara samma saker om och om igen, utan utvecklas med historien.
