It started out as one story, but then switched to another. Very confusing and irritating. I kept reading and did get interested in the second storyline. I was enjoying the story, but the author just up and left us with a very unsatisfying ending. Everything in the story was just left hanging. There needs to be another book to wrap up all the different character storylines. If this is the absolute ending for this story, it is not worth your time or money to read.

To many storylines that aren’t connected. Pick one and stick with it. Preferably the first one. The Calhoun storyline. Who changes stories and completely rewrites the characters history in the middle of the story. It makes no sense. I assume this is an AI story from the lack on consistency it has. I think my 10 year old grand daughter can do better at writing a consistent story than this writer is. It’s not worth the money to read it.

Beginning of story sucked me in. After Elodie left Calhoun, the story jumps around and I got lost of who what and where. There are some grammar and name issues, almost like the story was stolen and names were replace but missed a few, (Freya?). If this stayed with Elodie and Calhoun, I would give this book 5 stars. Dante and Elodie’s story seems like it was stuffed in to use up more coins. If the Dante section stays please clean it up so it flows better.

I’m super confused as to why this has turned into a completely different novel midway through. And even if it was going to turn into a completely different novel, how did the female main character allow herself to become a doormat twice? I mean at this point she almost deserves what happens to her because she just allows people to walk all over her without ever standing up for herself. It’s pathetic. I‘m almost positive that I’m not gonna finish it. Because she doesn’t deserve to be happy. I hate her. UPDATE: stop where you are. Do not go any further. There is 226 chapters and the book still isn’t finished. They’ve been no updates and I don’t know how long. And you are at least another hundred chapters away from any sort of a resolution. We have seen the same scenario happen at least 12 times and there’s no end in sight. Do not waste your money.

This is possibly the worst written story I have ever read. I don’t know if you can report it or what but clearly this must be an AI type of deal because it’s two stories mixed into one at only a quarter of the way through. The timelines don’t add up, inconsistent characters and repeated exact story line with different names. Please don’t waste your coins or time on something like this. Save yourself and report this story

NOT a Wolf/Werewolf Story! Just because they say “Alpha” or “Luna” once in a while, and say “Pack Lands or Territory” - it doesn’t make it a wolf story! No mention of any mating, marking, pack runs… and I believe Elodie would have literally died with all the cheating Fante was doing with her half-sister Sienna! You know, Mate Bonds! Way too many inconsistencies in several people’s names - sometimes even in the same paragraph, let alone between chapters! Some characters even change sexes somewhere along the line. Supposedly the Bellini Pack (though “Dante” “Matteo” “Frank” or whoever the heck he is, has the last name “Wilson.” Tries to play that there is an Italian background… however, they are constantly using chopsticks and drinking tea. Plus the “New Year’s” Red Envelopes/Gifts, along with the Lanterns, and all the nasty tonics for illnesses (usually found in Chinese medicine), and calling everyone you’re not even related to “Uncle” or “Aunt/Auntie”… really looks to be more of a Chinese (or other Oriental) cultural story. At least “Nonna” is Italian! 😂 Not to mention… absolutely the WORST ENDING I have read in my 61 years! So much left unsaid/unanswered! 0/10 stars - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Really, Author, you desperately need a good Editor, or 10… just saying!

It’s a story many can relate to. Unrequited love. Loving the wrong person. A woman getting involved with a man that treats her like her father did her and her mother. I can’t wait to see Elodie rise above it all. I can’t wait to see grown into the strong, fierce, unstoppable woman she was meant to be. It would be a treat to see them all fall at her feet with regret too. Great read! Thanks

In all honesty the book started off great Elodi was strong, Mika was a great friend and Calhoun was an aggravating choice of man but I was curious to see how the story would continue with these people. When the story showed she’d moved on I was ok with that. But then the story changed completely. Like the first relationship. With Calhoun no longer existed. The back story became inconsistent, she met Dante and left her dreams right after work. But she was already done school and working for Calhoun for years. Mila was never mentioned again and the story blossomed into another story entirely. One very similar to another story with a different. And and characters but exactly starts off the same. She comes home hoping for a little family birthday time for herself and daughter is making a bday gift for the mistress. Husband and daughter bother want the mistress and she leaves giving away custody and started her life in tech, in research etc. and moved on with life, still doing her due diligence to her daughter as the person who gave birth but just the bare minimum.

Loved the novel but hated the ending. Why couldn’t we see her shine in his face? Why couldn’t her identity be known so all those people who hated her and thought she was nothing could see just how smart she was. Why would the story end like this. No real understanding of how Dante felt. Her father and his family should have been shown the real Elodie. The truth should’ve come out. Why did she have to continue suffering in silence.Just wrong!

Elodie needs to be stronger. I thought she’d get a second chance at love but hasn’t happened and now this relationship is dragging on. I’m also not understanding how her relationship could become so distant from her daughter when they were only apart for two months. I’m still hopeful so we will see what happens. I’m wondering if she’ll get back with the first alpha and lead the tech world in the near future
