I may change my mind on this book when I get further into it but right now my thought are that this book really isn't one of my favourites. It's just dragging on and on and I just want it to get to the good bits. Rhette is an absolute idiot. It's blatantly obvious that Lucy is his fated mate. Yes, she's human but it happens. He feels stronger around her. It's obvious that he loves her. He's obsessively protective of her. That's the mate bond. But he's too strung up on finding his fated mate in a she-wolf that he can't see what's screaming right in his face
