Im on chapter 40 of this book and so far all I can say is that I am enthralled by it. I can only hope it stays this way. We are just starting to see the characters personalities come out and how they work together. They are serious, funny and very food driven which helps make the characters relatable. Although they are very different from each other you can see how they fit together and how although I’m very sure they will have ups and downs they will have each other’s backs.

Kimani and Alaric are beginning to have feelings for each other. I wonder when they will both acknowledge it and give it a go. Acting as an undercover employee will be interesting, it will be an opportunity for Alaric to understand what happens in his own organisation and flush out, employees like Ada who are vipers and bully others. I can’t wait for when Kimani meets Alaric’s friends and their opinions on their relationship. I think someone is in love.
