Catching feelings for Sage was not in the plan for Vera. He is a man she met in a members only club, The Black Room, and ended up kissing him by her car. And she ended up starting an arrangement with him, where she'd pay him to sleep with her anytime. Little did she know that Sage is not a bartender, but the real owner of The Black Room. And he is not a regular man, but a Mafia Boss. In Sage's mind, she was already his the moment she pulled him into a kiss. But he couldn't push her into actually dating him because she had just broken off a long-term relationship. But he was more than determined to make her his. Even when she insisted on paying him. What started off as two nights of Vera doing what her impulses wanted her to do and dragging Sage to a hotel room in his own club without her knowing, took an obvious turn. She found herself falling for him every time she invited him to have some intimacy. Every time he treated her like a queen. Little does she know that her “bartender” arrangement partner is obsessed with her and is not ready to let her go if at any point she decides to break off their arrangement. Question is, how will she react to knowing that he was living a lie this whole time? Will she forgive him? Will he tell her in time before she finds out on her own?
