Really good book. There was always something happening, almost too much at times. She got out of one mess and right into another sometimes without a break. At the end, is there really a curse on the baby girl or did it get canceled out by the grandmother figure that helped her out when needed. Did not like having to pay $100 or more for a book that we could buy off the shelf for $30. Not the authors fault that the app owner is greedy.

Easy to read. I’m finding the story line interesting which keeps me wanting to read chapter after chapter. It’s great to see how the characters are starting to change as well. I’m interested in find out what’s next especially with all the rejection so far. I did find it difficult to read all the abuse that was endured and nothing said and it is frustrating that the mother keeps carrying on about the dark eyes. I just want to know what her special powers are
