The overall story was good, the smaller details like timing, her not remembering much of her parents, and overall grammar issues is why it got a 4 out of 5. The story was good, the diversity of characters was also good. The development of new abilities could have been explored, along with her meeting with the doctor to learn more about herself. The love triangle was done really well. Again overall a good read.

I love the fact that Lana and both River are attractive to each other as werewolves... But what I don't understand is why does Zain smell nice to Lana and not Zain... But the suspense is killing me I really wanna know what happens next but thing is I always run out of coins to open new chapters...as for the blond that River must mate with is getting me worried because women can be very scheming I don't trust the blond at all

It’s well written and keeps me interested. There’s still alot of questions I have and keep reading to figure out what exactly is going to happen. The characters are really well thought out and the story line doesn’t drag but keeps you wanting more. I’m really looking forward to Lana learning more about herself and really open up more about her parents. I’m very interested in Zane and his back story. Can’t wait to read on.

This is really a good story. I'm not so sure about Zane though. I'm wondering if he might be something like a hunter or something. River just needs to figure out that he really does care about her. I think Avery is going to be trouble for them both. Avery is too concerned about River and making him mark her as his mate. She's also noticed that Lana has an alpha scent and for all purposes appears to be human

Loved it, kept me intrigued. Loved the thought processes going through Lana’s head on working through her emotions and feelings. Loved the connection she had with the forest before she knew her background. I thought Zane was up to something. Loved that she took Ezekiel over the cliff. Just wish she transformed into a werewolf. I thought we would also revisit the doctor to check out her other werewolf abilities. Great length, I don’t enjoy the books that go for hundreds of chapters.

The interactions of the characters was very well thought out. The story line was different from all the other books I am reading and was caught up in the story after the 1st couple of chapters. I even went back and read it a second time. To really understand the different nuances of each character. Which when you read some stories a 2nd time you don't find anything different, but I have to say that wasn't true with this one. I enjoyed it more the 2nd time around.

It was a slow burn book but so good! The ending was a little lacking and I would love to know what happens with the two conjoining packs and River and lana. I definitely need a second book! And I would love to have a prequel from Ray's perspective. Also- where is Zane really? Is this his villain story? What about Suzie's graduation party? I need more drama and paint people off of cliffs can't be the conflict resolution. 😂 Seriously though, this was such a great book!

I think this may be THE slowest buildup novel ever. Nothing really happens until around chapter 70, and considering that the book only has 106 or so chapters, that’s pretty late into the novel. Then all of a sudden everything is super rushed through, and the plot is very meh. The characters are pretty juvenile, and the main female is kinda boring and meek. I think I hate read the entire thing just because I hate not finishing books.
