Review after the novel completion

I enjoyed the novel it kept me wanting to read more, ignoring any mistakes. I really felt for Narine struggling to find herself and her place in the world while most things seemed to want to destroy her. Sargis did seem a bit too good to be true but at least his faith in Narine gave her something she could rely on even when she doubted it. If I had a complaint it would be that it ended too soon. I wanted to know if they had children and if any of the children inherited Narine skills. Also I would love to know what happens to the "girls", if they found mates and how they coped with all the intrigue they've had cope with.

Review after half of the novel

Well written and gripping ,I can't stop reading! The characters are well described so you can imagine everything like watching a movie in your head as well as the story line.... it's a will they won't they, will she become queen? Will she realize that Sargis is her mate? When will she get the opportunity to rip Joe's throat out? What's going to happen with the vampires? The mating ceremony... I can't wait to see what happens next. So I'm going to keep reading

Review after half of the novel

I love the different characters and their range of emotions. Hearing some of the same discussions from the different perspectives of the different characters really helps you to get to know them more intimately. There have been some great twists where you find yourself wanting to yell out to the different characters your thoughts on what they should or shouldn’t be doing. You can’t help but be drawn in, it is very addictive. Can’t wait to continue to see what happens next.

Review after half of the novel

I like the fact that she was made different from all of the other wolves but I don't like the way they treated her afterwards. I do like the fact that she is mated to the king but I wish she would talk to him instead of either yelling or just not doing anything at all. I do think he could help her get her revenge if she would just ask. I also liked the way he excepted her even though she was injured and barely alive without question I also liked the way he took care of her. I wish she would wait until she gets her wolf before she tried to leave so she would be stronger so she could actually do some damage to the people that hurt her and she could feel the bond she has with the king. I haven't read it all but I hope she figures out how he feels about her and how she feels about him so they can destroy their enemies.

Review after half of the novel

The novel is pretty gripping so far. The main character Narine takes you on a roller coaster of emotions right from the first chapter. Hope, betrayal, excitement, fear, terror, confusion, anger. The years of trauma she has endured etched on her skin and embedded in her mind. Sargis is patient and kind only wanting her happiness. I cant wait to see how their relationship unfolds. When Narine learns she can trust him and when she gets her revenge on her abusers. I hope she discovers her strength and trusts herself.

I loved this book, and I want to read any sequels this author writes! Everything in here, including sex scenes, fit the story. I did not feel like the author extended it just to keep me reading. It’s rare to find such a well written book online. Some of the things the characters went through, especially the Luna, were difficult to read about, and there were times that I thought the alpha would reject her, especially when she found her true powers. However, the characters surprised me, and together they worked through all the difficulties. I would like a copy of this book in hardcover.

Review after half of the novel

So far this book has kept me coming back. The storyline is amazing. The characters are interesting. I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm very interested in learning how she gets her wolf back and when, or if, she will feel the bond. What will she think when she finds out he has had her tormentors all along? Will she get stronger? Is she the key to the upcoming war? Does she have powers? Why hasn't her wolf spoken to her? What happens next?!?!?

I really loved the story line. While the writing is very detailed and well written, it is a little too detailed & long winded in most of the book. Especially Narine's point of view. I get that they are trying to create a visual for the readers, but we don't need to know about all the carvings in the legs of each table. There was 2 full chapters of people just saying goodbye. Each person had their own paragraphs. The story line was still great & had me hooked enough to push through it. I would recommend to others but advise that it's kind of annoyingly detailed, especially for those who are paying for chapters.

Review after the novel completion

Unfortunatly the author prolonged this novel with long discriptions and did Not Bring the story forward. Intristing persons we're not developed, while the Reader is overhelmed by many Side persons. The main charakter unfortunatly are Not very deep. That would not matter if the story had been Action driven. But it is not. There are some beautiful discriptions, that are the only highlights and the talent of the author, like the scene in the Secret Part of the Garden. Unfortunatly the novel is not worth the money you pay, because the story is boring and persons not well developed. The end and alliance come surprisingly easy without persons standing for them.

Review after half of the novel

Honestly, this book definitely starts off rather well. Some chapters in, it starts to show down. But that's the thing, right? Delayed gratification. If we received everything we wanted, right when we wanted it, nothing would feel special. So I pushed on, and oh the misconception! Oh the frustration. Oh the sheer amount of missed opportunity for the characters..., If I sit back and remind myself, the characters need to be flawed and events need to propel the story forward. However, while I'm reading, I'm screaming (literally) at the characters that I know they know that wasn't the right way to react in the moment. Or I know they know they should do this or that... All in all, I really am enjoying this novel so far. Even with all the telling, because the way I see it, the author did a good job at writing the frustrating scenes. They have me enthralled and entertained enough to feel defeated when I run out of coins and have to wait be allowed the opportunity to read more.
