Second chance books are usually not my favorites but I gave this a try. Rosa struggles hard with her first rejection before she's sold off and finds a her second chance in another pack. They can't be together due to being the Luna of the crazy stubborn alpha, while her old alpha back at home was gripping with the facts of her being gone and still wanting her. Rosa is easily tricked and relies too much on others for help. With each chapter I turned, I kept asking when she's going to be strong and learn that not everyone has her best interest at heart. She eventually escapes her abusers and starts a journey to rebuild her future.

I really wanted Rosa to end up with her mate. Ava her sister and the man that raised both needed to be dealt with. Damon with Ava again, he gets what is coming to him. I had hoped that Rosa would also find her friend Melody again. Her husband would die from all the hate that he had given to his previous wife and his son along with Rosa. Hopefully we will see more to this novel. Who were Rosa’s parents, why did they leave here when she was a baby? Too many questions that need to be answered here.
