THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA Reviews

Review after the novel completion

This book is a pure pleasure. I thought it was the usual werewolf story; not knowing what was awaiting me! The writing, the story, the plot, the characters, ... everything speaks to me. The simplicity and the ease of this love story is pure gold: two broken souls who find each other against their will and decide to walk that path toghether and to be each other strenght. It will allow them to grow from weak to strong and to advance toward their destiny. The last chapter made me cry but it was worth it!

Review after half of the novel

You can feel the emotions being expressed by the characters. The fear Aria feels about being near her siblings, the growing feelings of love between Lucien and Aria, the hatred of so many others…. The descriptions are so vivid you can almost see the scenes in your mind’s eye. Castles with many branching corridors, the King’s chamber with a throne made of bones, large stone pave courtyards, the market place square with the vendors selling their goods. And off in the distance, beyond the cottages of the pack members lays the forest with its paths hidden in the snow. Excellent writing!

Review after half of the novel

A good cast of characters, interesting dynamics and a mystery included. I'm enjoying the book. Looking forward to see how it progresses. The author is really good at getting you interested in the characters, gives good descriptions of the background, you can see in your minds eye the forest, castle and feel the cold from the snow and the warmth from the fire. I will make a note of the author's name and look out for more of their books to read.

Review after the novel completion

I just finished reading The Broken Luna: Mated To The Cripple Alpha. This was very well written. What I liked most about it was that there were twists and turns so it wasn’t predictable. The author did an excellent job of describing each character and slowly building them up so I could not wait to find out how each character was going to be used in the book. I liked how it wasn’t overly smutty, for lack of a better word. I liked some things left for my imagination which is sometimes more than what I read. Can’t wait to read subsequent books!

Review after half of the novel

The Broken Luna: Mated to… is an emotional werewolf romance about rejection, resilience, and destined love. The heroine, scarred by betrayal and pack politics, believes she is unworthy until a powerful mate claims her. As secrets surface and loyalties are tested, she must rediscover her strength and redefine what it means to lead. Though it follows familiar fated-mate tropes, the steady character growth, emotional depth, and simmering chemistry create a satisfying and heartfelt paranormal read. Perfect for fans of dramatic wolf romance.

Review after the novel completion

Absolutely loved this book, went from sad and depressing to downright awe inspiring. I was expecting it to go how it did as alot of werewolf books start and end the same with the middle slightly different but this one had me wondering what was going to happen next. From the maid to the crippled alpha and the way the author portrayed both really had me wanting to read more and was hoping there would be a second book but not this time

Review after half of the novel

So far this story has been somewhat original with the plot and characters, but the wording is a little confusing compared to most werewolf stories. Such as they are in a “clawhold” not a “pack” , and the ones without wolves are called ”stillblood” instead of “omegas “. Of course the longer you read it, the more you understand the wording. There is a lot of action with revenge and retaliation throughout, but surprisingly not a lot of wasted detailed sex scenes. Don’t get me wrong, a hot and heavy sexual encounter is always welcomed, just not when it is 3 chapters long.

Review after half of the novel

Enjoying the story between Lucian and Aria. This type of story is becoming familiar though. I see differences however and it's refreshing. Tired of women always being beaten or weakened in everyone's eyes. Good to see both characters healing each other!! They have a lot to go and I'm sure they'll prevail in the end. Hopefully everyone gets their end how they deserve! Ronan Lyra all the evil family folks. They can take out Lily and others too along the way!

Review after half of the novel

Interesting novel so far. I really hope it keeps up with the pace, the intrigue and the plots. Keeps me wondering where it's going to go and how is everything going to both expand and tie up. I like the protagonists, both growing and healing together despite everything. Looking forward to seeing them development even more and find peace, so far I am recommending it, will see afterwards. Now the rest of this review is filler to gain coins. Enjoy!

Review after half of the novel

This is a very interesting book. The more I read the more questions I have about some of the characters. Especially the main character. Little by little the author is revealing that the main character is stronger and has some gifts that she is not aware of. It makes it hard to stop reading. I’m so eager to find out the hidden secrets. I’m not even halfway through the story. The book is full of excitement, adventure, drama and secrets. This book is very entertaining and relaxing!
