So sad the way the writer keeps telling the same thing what happens but with different people. It makes the storyline confusing and ruins what could have been a good story. I hope it is because it was the writers first story. If not too bad because the story is ruined by the way everything keeping repeating itself. To many coins for keeping us to read the same thing so many times. I sounds like the writer needed to fill in more word 😞

This book began good but floundered after they moved into the palace. The constant 'like a' statements, broken sentences which didn't help to explain the events that were being talked about; the story took a downward spiral that I wasn't expecting. They were some really good parts but I wish it was enough to recover the story line, I was holding out hope. I did love the relationship began Thorne and Elara and the little comedian they created. I loved Thorne's unrelenting desire to bring his mate and son home, also how he was ready to do any and everything to keep them safe.

This was a fantastic read. I could barely get anything done in my life because I was so focused on reading the book. I loved Aeron. Such an adorable little kid, he was a little unrealistic as well as how everyone took to him, unless that was supposed to be his "princely energy" because he will one day be the next Alpha King, but if that was the intention the author really needed to either outright say that or allude to it. I think she did at one point but I can't be sure. I love the twins (who wouldn't?) And Julian. Is the next book going to be Julian's? I had difficulty telling what direction the author was intending him to go, I also had difficulty knowing who Caius preferred or if he liked both men and women. But it will be interesting to see where the author goes from here. Especially since Caius just being Caius made the flight attendant sigh everytime she walked by (unless it was irritation). And the twins are in Crescent for more than moral support... They're there for their stories (I hope).

Dissatisfaction! disappointed! disbelief! It started well but then declined—for me. I felt disconnected while like I was reading a feel different books in one. There were too many repeated words, pages and just felt disjointed overall. Is thee e book 2–because the way this ended has me completely floored. The last page has Alara sending a text then when I flipped those message popped up that I have completed the story—how. Yeah, it’s too bad, even not so great should have a proper ending.

I was enjoying this book but I was however disappointed and I’m left wondering what happened. The issues were not resolved but to the book came to an end unexpectedly. I hope there’s a continuation to this book because it left me hanging. I was hoping to find out more about the silent antagonist. Aside from the ending this was really a wonderful read. It was a page turner full of action and suspense. I would love to read something else from this author. Please continue the book 💝

Review after half of the novel

I like the Alpha Novel platform and the content that is available. This Novel had me intrigued as it started off with a unique story line where the original family accepts and welcomes back their family members who left the pack. This was appreciated as sometimes this doesn't happen. The story was very interesting introducing a mystery handsome man. I often wonder why the mate bond was not realized in the introduction of this story but if often mentioned later on. Aeron and his wildlife behavior has stolen my heart. However I do wish the storyline would be much faster and not drag out the inevitable.

Chapters too short, coins cost too much.Good story. I will look for more books by this author.54 or more chapters and it cost too much in comparison to kindle books. The cost of coins is too high just like some the other services. The chapters of the book hold be more along the lines of maybe 25-30, chapters like a normal novel.I’m not sure if Im keeping this service or canceling subscription. I hope this helps.

Review after half of the novel

I am enjoying this novel, each chapter keeps drawing me in closer. I like the thing that the little king does. He is able to remove the tension in any room, hardened men and scared women think he is a breath of fresh air. I love watching the king soften when he is with his mate and towards his son, even when others are watching. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys drama and adventure along with their passion.

Review after half of the novel

So far this book has had a great store line. Very descriptive. I wish there was more conversation though. The description is almost making me want to move onto another book because of it. I really loved the idea of this book but really would love to see more convo and not repetitive scenes and descriptions. For example, Cassia has had the same outfit on for multiple nights now (red sweater). Didn’t know cassia was going to fight in the battle. Roles of the family would have been cool to know. Who would take over after Darius leaves? That kind of stuff.

Good writing but it’s ended with a cliff-hanger. I enjoyed all the characters, particularly Thorne and Elara and wanted to,have a proper ending of the book. I’m guessing there will be a sequel? My main issue is the cost of reading these books. I can get better quality reading for free with my Kindle membership and I hope authors realise that you are ripping off your readers. Find a better way of publishing and your readership will grow exponentially.
