Although I'm yet to finish this novel, but is worth reading. I'm so stuck with it! Phewww!!!. The plot is fantastic and the Characters are on point. The fact that Danika's father was a very ruthless king is terrible but I'm relieved she wasn't in support of it. Sally's undying loyalty and love for the Princess plus her cheerful nature makes her a unique Character. I'm still wondering why Baski is being good to Danika regardless of everything she passed through in the hands of Danika's father not to mention the situation of her daughter. I'm suspecting she's aware of princess Danika's contributions towards making life less stressful for them when they were slaves though. When it comes to the king's mistress, i don't blame her for being hateful towards the slave princess, I believe most people in her shoes will try getting back at the princess as well. But at the same time, she's acting more out of jealousy that the king favours his slave than of spite in respect to what Danika's father did to them. She let jealousy alter her sense of judgement. About the king, he's a good man with an extremely good heart. He's finding it difficult to hurt Danika and gets somewhat worked up when someone else does that. Is he not supposed to be more brutal towards Danika? is he possibly aware of her good deeds in the past? or is he falling in love with her? Well, I can't say now till I'm done with the novel. As for Karandy, I'm quite satisfied that he is out of the way and won't bother Danika again but is he dead or alive?, That I don't know yet. Will Danika be punished for hitting him? I pray she doesn't get punished.

I like the characters’ depictions and their development. The characters are multifaceted, with the emotion and inconsistency of humanity. The reflections on slavery, revenge, friendship,love and hate in dire circumstances give the novel a refreshing depth. So far also the plot is engaging. Some imagery is strong yet justified by the emphasis on slavery, its brutality and the deep physical, emotional and psychological scars it inflicts. I do hope to see love to win, but the novel does not give away its final and keeps you reading it.

Really enjoying this story so far . Hope it stay the same throughout the rest off the novel. Im reading at least 30 chapters a night , which shows how good it is . Others i have read go on about the soap they are putting in the bath, the food etcand not in just one chapter but everyone. Were as no words are used to fill a gap at all. Please keep up the good work , just want a happy ending

Awesome novel and loved reading it so much. It hurts thinking about the princess she doesn't deserve all this and by thinking about all the circumstances and all that she's been going through it hurts.The novel is quiet interesting and the content in the chapters is so small that's the only thing I hates. By reading the story it's a great experience. I'm waiting and exited to know about what happens next. It's a great story and I love it so much.

I am wondering what the fate of princess Danika and slave sally will be . Loosing one's vriginity in a cruel way as that is tormenting and would leave a stigma forever. The King has a soft side for the princess even if he doesn't want to acknowledge that fact cause of the pains and anger he has endured and still cultivating within . one thing for sure is his mistress will forever remain a mistress to the king .

Angenehme englische Sprache, die gut verständlich ist. Die Geschichte ist auch gut und keine standardisierte Geschichte, die man immer so liest. Würde aber gerne mehr lesen ohne dauernd Werbung gucken zu müssen. Wiederum bin ich froh, weil die Geschichte sehr interessant ist. Kann allerdings die Charakterzüge des Königs nicht ganz nachvollziehen und hoffe er öffnet sich bald. Bin aktuell bei Kapitel 30. An sich ist die Geschichte wirklich sehr pervers und gespannt, wann sie den König endlich ansehen darf. Ende.

I'm speechless right now. I started this book and I almost stopped reading it because of the graphic scenes but I really wanted to know why and how Lucien is the way he is. I can't believe he endured all that torturing by Danika father. I do believe that he's wrong for taking it out on her because she's innocent. I don't like Vetta. She's crazy and obsessed with the King. She's jealous of Danika too. I think Lucien is going to fall for her.

I like the sex scenes lol. Cool story but the movie is just too much of an emotional drama for the viewer and it makes it so hard for me not be happy with it and the ending of the show just feels so good and it’s so sad that it’s not as bad and I feel so sad that I can’t be happy anymore and it’s so hard for us all and we just need a good story
