Tempting Darkness - Series Reviews

So I have honestly never read a book like this..the humiliation, degradation and brutalness of it! The part were darius snapped her leg and broke her fingers.. can honestly say i was shocked! But I can honestly say I am begining to se why it is not for everyone and how it can be triggering but from one chapter to next I have no idea what to expect but I am absolutely hooked and can not put it down! I definitely can't get enough and will be looking for more books like this one.

I absolutely loved this series. It was sort of an emotional roller coaster but I love its ending. I love Jessica Hall’s book and I think she is an amazing author. This series was very hard to pace myself reading it. I couldn’t stop and I finished it in 2 days. I loved how each mate was a much needed puzzle piece and Aleera was what base where they all come together. I was definitely not disappointed with this series. On to the next :P

Love the intricacies of this story. I love how detailed each character is, how we learn about everyone’s personal story and how they overcome their trauma together. I love the slow building relationship between Darius and Aleera as well. Her relationship with Kalen is sweet and he relies on her to tame his darkness. But her bond with Darius is so much more. They help each other grown, help each other with their traumas, and overcome problems that others just do not understand. Together they take on the responsibility to care for their family and fix the issues going on in the world, all whilst falling in love with each other and truly understanding how deeply there care for each other, despite trying not to at one stage or another. I love the ending as well, the names for the children are perfect.

This book series is so good!! There are some chapters missing in a part where I really wish they weren’t… but other than that the characters are amazing! The author does a great job of making you love or hate a character! So much passion in this and such a cool story line and plot twists! I love it! I am a huge fan of this author! I hope one day I can read the missing chapters or the story continues

In love with the book can't wait ti read more I'm wondering if they wi'll figure out what actually was calling through everybody's mind. When she ran and everybody tells the truth about everything. And maybe they can all forgive each other and fall in love and be as one I hope she don't run away again I think she just needs to fight through it and things will get better for her if she just does what they want and then she can find out what really happened

This is a great story. It gets a little slow at the end but the dynamics between aleera, Darius, Tobias, kalen, and lycus is great the exploration of them as individuals as well as being mates is great. I love kalen and aleera relationship the most. The use of demons harmony vampire and lycan fae is a great way to incorporate multiple fantasy supernatural elements. I especially like the inclusion of the phoenix into the story. The development of the characters is a great thing.

I love the book plus it is well written. I love the story line but think it should have more sex seen laughing out loud. It was easy to keep up with the story plot. I love the plot twist and the direction the story was going. It is a must read I couldn’t stop reading this book. My heart goes out to them they live a hard life. It is not just the mates it is families that was hurt because of power hungry people.

It’s getting really interesting so far but would really like to get to the part where they starting to let their guard down. I want to see their relationship as a whole and that the misunderstandings are cleared out. It will be interesting to see the dynamic of it all unwrap. Can wait to read what they will have to overcome come together. This mate bond dynamic is different from the usuals I have read before too which interesting to see them use the word fae as the overall connection.

Absolutely loving it so far . The descriptiveness is soo on point it makes me feel like I’m in the book and the Author is narrating my life. Lol I’m just kidding. I will say the character and story development is absolutely amazing, beautiful, raw, interestingly creative, a little complex but extremely captivating. I’m only on chapter forty one and thoroughly hooked. Although I am patiently waiting for the Steam to rear its head. But can’t wait to read what happens next!
