Rejecting the Mating Bond (Curse of Selene Book 1) Reviews

I enjoyed the route the author chose with this story. There are many stories about fated mates defying the odds to be together, but not many about chosen mates, how they are genuinely in love, and the obstacles they must face to be together. I liked how the Moon Goddess was included in the story, giving it an exciting twist. The author made it seem like there is more to the story, and I’m curious to see how it continues, especially since it ended on a cliffhanger.

Fabulous. Something about this story kept me captivated. I was only planning to read a couple pages but it hooked me. I loved the characters and the arcs that every single one had. The dialogue was great and it was really well written. there are not many books in these apps that keep you motivated to finish them to the end. This one makes me want to continue. I cannot wait until the next books to see what happens with these characters.

The plot line work- up, character development, and writing were phenomenal. There we a few areas of confusion in the story line. It almost seems the writer changed story dynamics midway and missed a few changes. Regardless of that, this an amazing story. The main characters are relatable, and urge you to cheer for them, even if they may not be in the right. The foresight of this author when developing the antagonist chose a road not many writers have embarked on and I must applaud her.
