My Monster Reviews

There’s always a sweet find at the bottom of sales bin. This book has been written by a great author who tells a great story. The main characters are actually similar to real people with anxiety and PTSD among other issues. I think the Alpha, although suffering from OCD, will turn out to be Danika’s saving grace. I’m not sure where the step brother that spurned Danika in the beginning of the story and is apparently now dying will fit into the story but I’m sure I’ll soon find out. One awesome book by an awesome writer. I enjoyed it all and plan on reading some more of her books.

If you are a fan of dark werewolf romances, fated mates, and fiercely obsessive Alpha leads, this supernatural story is an absolute must-read! What I loved the most: The Setup: After being coldly rejected by her childhood best friend, Tyler, Danika’s world spirals into chaos. The ultimate twist? She discovers her fated mate is Kaziel—Tyler’s deeply despised stepbrother and a terrifying, cursed Alpha. The Chemistry: The romance here is dark, intense, and heavily relies on the "obsessive/possessive mate" trope. Kaziel is driven by a hunger he cannot control, and watching him fiercely claim and protect Danika creates incredible romantic tension. The World-Building: This isn't just a standard werewolf romance. The plot is packed with high-stakes supernatural drama, featuring an ancient pack curse that only Danika can break, stalking vampires, and a fanatical cult hunting her blood to awaken a god. Whitney Bridge weaves a thrilling, 107-chapter rollercoaster full of betrayal, danger, and steamy romance. If you love stories where the heroine must embrace the "monster" to survive, this dark fantasy will keep you completely hooked!

This was a great read. Steamy but the characters had depth, were relatable and the torture of the characters, palpable. Wish I had paperback copies of these. I despise reading on electronics but the story was great, so I sucked it up and ready it in 2 days.🤣 Total shocker with Kaziel, who's name is could decide if it was Kazeel or Kaizelle, but that was a great suprise. Kira needs her own series. Loved the flirtatious, witty banter. Onto the next book! Talleyho!!
