This started off as an interesting tale and I thought I would enjoy it. However, some parts were just too dark and uncomfortable to read. Not a fan of the intimate scenes between the two wolves it just gave me the ick! That said, the plotlines are complex and the mystery of Maximus's origins is intriguing. I'll keep reading to see where the story goes. All of the various supernatural beings that are being introduced do not really add to the story currently, but perhaps their relevance will show later on. The relationship between Rebecca and Maximus is a little clichéd, I.e. dislike turns to attraction, turns to love, but again, well see how it develops as the sto goes along.

I am truly loving this novel right now. It is a real page turner. Very suspenseful, never knowing wheat the next turn will give you. I love the budding romance that is developing and at the same time cheering for Maximus and Rebecca, while they continually fight the bond. Praying that all works out for them because there are too many sinister forces against them including Maximus himself. The descriptions of the other creatures are not only vivid but a little scary. It leaves me wondering what the next page will bring. Excellent reading.

So far, the reading is quite interesting! It draws you in, to read more, Have no idea where it is leading. You want more because of the intrigue. What will happen next. You have no idea, but you want to know!! Where isn’t the story line headed??? Hopefully, reading on will give answers?! Makes you want more, to read……. Guess we will find out in the next chapter. It is very interesting, to say the least. I find the witch theory, very credible in this story line!!!

It needs more chapters, the detail is great at times, but sometimes too jumpy or not clear who is speaking. Some paragraphs repeat them selves, like they have hit enter before they have edited the whole lot. Does seem like they have forgotten that raven is special and really play on her as weak, while this is shown to be untrue it's kinda annoying at times. Maximus as a character sounds great, but it's lacking details on how he looks to give a full pictures

I didn’t like how this novel ended. The ending was too abrupt, and ended at what should have been the climax of the storyline. Continuing a storyline through a series of books is fine, but each book should have its own beginning, climax, and end. Each book should have its own plot. This book left the reader hanging at a point where the excitement should have been starting. This leaves the reader (myself) disappointed in what has been read.

Hope the next book in this series is just as good. The ending feels like the story is just being. Hoping there will be a happy ever after. But knowing there will be many trials and tribulations along the way. Can't wait to find out what the magic is all about and weather it will be passed onto Rebecca. Now that they have mated I wonder if the magic will be easier to control. Thanks to the author keep writing you are fantastic.
