You immediately dislike Kingsley with how he appears to ignore his wife and mate. You might think to yourself that Freya should not put up with being treated like a slave by everyone in her life. It takes a long time to warm up to Kingsley. Grace really is the definition of a wicked stepmother. Halfway through the story, you think it must be near the end, but a few twists and turns and you find yourself in the "just one more chapter before bed" situation. I found it a slow burning story but worth sticking with it till the end

I thought i wasn’t going to like this book but i gave it a chance and i dont regretted a bit. I Love the story line. It keeps me to want to read more. This book is addictive and i cant put it down. I cant wait to find out how this book would end. It it so exciting reading this book it is one of the best book i have read in a while.This book is great!

I do not get the ending at all. Overall I liked the book but I felt you never got a resolution to freya and kingleys feelings for each other it went right to the baby story line and defending again grace. And that was fine but I felt like they needed to be reunited more and how about getting home to the other baby after all that before we skip ahead 3 years. I don’t know I just felt like there were some missing pieces. But overall decent story line. I would definitely read something by this author again

I do just absolutely freaking love love love me any form of romance dark romance fantasy romance dark fantasy romance you name it chances are I have eaten it up in a guilty pleasure read. So off the bat the title drew me in to believe this read could be a bit of me and I love the troupe of found love or enemies to lovers forbidden love found power rising from the ashes so I got that vibe from the title alone. And so far the story is great and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds from here

Really enjoyed reading all the chapters so far, exciting times with them. The first part was amazing 👏 I'm flying g through to finish as I want to see the ending 😫 unexpected things throughout the whole book is truly unpredictable and really has u wanted more. A bit frustrated by Freya’s constant surrender to her feelings for Kingsley, who treats her like rubbish! He only started paying her attention when Finley was interested in her and when she was fed up with him and he realised she wouldn’t remain his doormat forever. I like the book and I hope Kingsley atones for the way he treated Freya. I hope that, if she does, she won’t forgive him easily. Tracy and Kingsley’s mother and sister are horrible people that deserve a horrible ending, and there’s a special place in hell for Theo 😡

This is a good book it has a few story lines and I assume it will move together. I think kingley should up his game and be available. His mother trying to drug his mate but so far not really a reason for it. And is Tracy a friend or a lover? I do wish this book was on a free site, I am only able too read a few chapters a day, but I do like the book so far

While I did enjoy this book, it left a lot of unanswered plots. What happened to Freya’s adopted sister? What happened to Tracy? Did Freya ever have a job again in acting or as a stunt double? Was Joyce killed to attempting to kill Charles? Where is Finley? What happened with Freya’s best friend? Or her father Leo? And just who was her real father? Was her mother actually her mother? Or was she taken from her brother’s pack at birth? It’s is most definitely worth reading, as long as you don’t dwell on all these just forgotten tie bits of information.
