Get Back The Abandoned Luna Reviews

It is a bit confusing, as if English is not the original language of the author, a lot of spelling mistakes. What is even more confusing is it seems the writer has forgotten information given in previous chapters and suddenly gives completely different details. Like the sister of Lucien, I thought when Scarlett first called to ask for help, she'd called Kathleen and referred to her as her best friend. But suddenly when she encounters Kathleen in person it is a meeting for the first time?

Strong women whose men aren’t intimidated by them. Great characters and plot twists. Scarlet’s pain, fortitude, and strength in dissolving the bond was both heartbreaking and inspiring. Female friendships were real and heart warming. Lucien was a bit of an enigma at first but loved how his perception and view of Scarlet evolved. The evil😉 Natasha aka Scarlett’s grandmother was a hoot especially after the “kidnapping” following Lucien and Scarlett’s bonding ceremony. Loved how the evil one was really a softie!

The plot is pretty standard for this genre- scorned woman keeps her dignity and finds new partner worthy of her, gets revenge etc. It holds the reader’s attention but there are too many syntactical and grammatical errors- people change their names, even genders! The most glaring inconsistency is one of time- the heroine uses a mobile phone and rides in an SUV, but later there are scribes who record the council meetings with quill pens and ink pots, and lighting is from torches and candlelight. The last few chapters read as if someone else added them on.

So far the book is ok. It's taking a while to move the story along. Why is she resisting the mate bond with Lucien? Why not reject Alexander? I applaud the author for bringing the domestic violence situation into the story. It shows that it takes strength to survive and promote change for the survivors to be able to live free and safe. As a victim myself I love reading stories where the victims are no longer victims but survivors who are strong .

Abandon Luna to Get Back is a deeply introspective novel that explores loss, self-discovery, and the painful choices one must make to reclaim their true self. The story unfolds with emotional honesty, drawing the reader into a journey where love and attachment clash with personal growth. The author handles complex emotions with sensitivity, making the characters feel real and relatable. Luna, in particular, is written with depth—both as a person and as a symbol—representing comfort, attachment, and sometimes the very thing that holds us back. The narrative gently questions whether holding on is always an act of love, or if letting go can also be one. The pacing is reflective rather than rushed, allowing readers to sit with the emotions and meanings behind each decision. While the novel may feel slow at times, this slowness adds to its emotional weight and realism. Overall, this book is not just a story—it’s an experience. It resonates strongly with readers who have faced difficult emotional crossroads and understand that sometimes abandonment is not betrayal, but survival.

Love it very much. I like that she is a trong shewolf and has her principals. I dont like the damsel in distress storys so much, but yours has the right mix of everything. I just dont really get the Sister, her charackter and her purpose. But im only half way thru, so maybe it will make sense soon. I love lucien, very well written. Alex and faye have the right amount of evil, i hope in the end the will suffer and regret everything. Thank you

The story line is interesting but I have found a few inconsistencies. Those inconsistencies can make it hard to follow sometimes. Overall I am enjoying the book. The journey of Scarlett has so much potential and I find myself curious every time as to how she will get herself out of situations. I wish the reviews didn’t have such a long word requirement because I feel like I’m just making stuff up when I have made my point with a few sentences.

So far it’s good it’s a little dragging in some chapters but I haven’t read anything from the author before so not entirely sure of their writing style but hopefully it will be an epic read, so far it’s fab and it’s keeping me interested so that’s the main point if an author does that then all is well so well done author and can’t wait to finish your book and also read more

I am enjoying this novel so far. The story line is great. It is a little different from other werewolf novels. I can’t wait to see what happens next and most importantly how this story ends!!! This is not like the typical she wolf novel, where the main female character is so weak she cannot help herself and she counted to stepped on. This novel has kept my attention to continue reading straight through without stopping. I am enjoying this novel.
