Four Mates and A Rogue Reviews

It starts out super well, grabbed my attention, and yet Would like to see move POVs. I would’ve also really enjoyed seeing more resistance from her and more hidden truths about her past. Such as why did the uncle want to kill her, & what is so important about her? I am left with more wants and questions but over all, I really enjoy it. I go to bed thinking about it and wake up excited to read more. I have noticed I’m more saddened to stop reading, due to the lack of answers.

I loved this novel from start to finish. It did not move too quickly, nor did it drag on. It made me laugh and it made me cry. The only part I really did not like was when the baby was born, that they did not use his name or his sex to discuss him. I found that part of it a bit too impersonal. The characters were well written and developed. I laughed at loud at the antics that they portrayed after the baby, Rowan, was born. I would highly recommend this novel to everyone!

This was a very good novel. It was an attention getter. It keeps you fixated on the story. The section after Raven gave birth i think could have been left out! To me it seemed like it drug on and on. Over all though it was a well put together novel. The author is very talented. I was really surprised by how it ended. The final few chapters need to be revised or omitted. I can understand wanting to tell about the baby but this was a little much.

This is an ok book so far. Not the best I’ve read but the grammar is good and it’s… well definitely easy to follow. Like a young author kind of book. But in all I like it’s simplicity, I needed a not so dramatic kind of read so I am not putting its simplicity down but relishing in it, need the simplicity at this point. I can’t wait to see how it ends now. It should be interesting.

I'm really trying to understand the idea of the one line comments. A lot of what is being said and done is becoming repetitive so far. And I don't understand why if Raven is so strong and tough as a fighter, why is she constantly being injured? Kieran, Dorian, Lucian and Theo have very different personalities which is interesting. The part where Lucian made breakfast was funny. I'm wondering what is supposed to be so special about Raven's blood that makes the council want her.

While a great storyline, it is severely lacking. I always try to leave mostly positive reviews. Unfortunately, this time I cannot. It is very disappointing to have to pay many coins for ten chapters in a row saying repeatedly the same thing! Also a contorted timeline will confuse most readers. The readers are missing vital information and details. The inconsistencies of the characters, their attitudes and preferences does make wanting to continue difficult. I will finish, as I am interested to see how it ends. I truly hope that it improves.

The book and the characters come to life. The way the story started and the way it ended, everything in between gives people enjoyment just for a little while leaving the outside world. The way the people from different places in life strive to be better than what they are now. It gets people wanting to better themselves. People in the story each have negative and positive impact on the entire community. They learn from mistakes. Own up to their actions.
