The story has been interesting so far. It does get a little repetitive. Using the same paragraphs unnecessarily. Also repeating scenes. First book I have read were an abused female becomes more powerful then her alpha and the alpha looses power. Definitely a different twist. I am hoping for more new ideas in this story. I find that refreshing. I am ready to see where the rest of the book takes this powerful new Luna. I am also interested to see how the alpha's life changes next.

It was good to see more of Lucian being an Alpha. Wish Kaelan, Yoki, and Ayla had been included a little bit, but I guess this part was more about Lucian leading and a new wolf, Kira. Lucian has learned how to lead without hate, without torture, but with mercy, caring, and understanding. He doesn't have the need for power. He listens, comprehends, decides, and then speaks. He can do it calmly but with authority. He gets results. He has a way of defusing conflict.

I am liking this novel at moment as the plot is a little convoluted and interesting. The descriptions are generally pretty good and there is very good editing and no major mistakes. The length of the chapters is better than many other novels, also the main locations are in UK and Japan and not in USA. I am only part way through at the moment and won't leave any spoilers. Romance is pretty light and X-rated like other novels. I will update in the future.
