Alpha's Regret: Losing His True Mate Reviews

It started out as one story, but then switched to another. Very confusing and irritating. I kept reading and did get interested in the second storyline. I was enjoying the story, but the author just up and left us with a very unsatisfying ending. Everything in the story was just left hanging. There needs to be another book to wrap up all the different character storylines. If this is the absolute ending for this story, it is not worth your time or money to read.

In all honesty the book started off great Elodi was strong, Mika was a great friend and Calhoun was an aggravating choice of man but I was curious to see how the story would continue with these people. When the story showed she’d moved on I was ok with that. But then the story changed completely. Like the first relationship. With Calhoun no longer existed. The back story became inconsistent, she met Dante and left her dreams right after work. But she was already done school and working for Calhoun for years. Mila was never mentioned again and the story blossomed into another story entirely. One very similar to another story with a different. And and characters but exactly starts off the same. She comes home hoping for a little family birthday time for herself and daughter is making a bday gift for the mistress. Husband and daughter bother want the mistress and she leaves giving away custody and started her life in tech, in research etc. and moved on with life, still doing her due diligence to her daughter as the person who gave birth but just the bare minimum.

Very disappointing. The story line was unfinished. It felt like too many loose ends needed to be tied up. It was also strange going from Elodi loving someone for 9 years, walking away and then never hearing from him or that situation again. The story line was not cohesive. Also what about Dante giving Sienna shares in the company than turning around and stopping the divorce going through. And no one really talks to anyone anout anything they just assume things about each other and come to there own conclusions about people. So disappointed!

This was… something. The story has a lot of potential, but… it’s very poorly put together. Missing chapters, completely riddled with inconsistencies and errors, the whole first part is… a fever dream? If you look at the timelines throughout the whole story, Elodie would have been 10 when she and Calhoun started sleeping together. Which is obviously not true. But, the story proceeds as if they’re connected until you actually get into the Dante arc. Then the whole backstory changes. Completely. Elodie is a weak and pathetic character throughout the whole book. The shifter angle is a joke. Dante is a prick, but you know nothing from his perspective. There is no revenge, as one might expect. Just an extremely dissatisfying ending. Absolutely zero resolution. I don’t know what the author was thinking. Honestly, this is an editor’s nightmare. If you pay for coins, don’t waste your money. If you don’t mind watching ads for free chapters, then proceed at your own discretion. Just know it’s really a disappointment. I’m really not trying to be rude or mean to the author, but… It had to be said.

Honestly...its all over the place. There's no plausible continuality, time lines makes no sense and the 'suffering' of the MFC is monotonous. Feels like the author just gave up on the story line and just wrote things to carry the story to some semblance of an end. It genuinely feels like the story was marginally fed to an AI based story telling platform and just posted with whatever it came up with. Very annoyed that I stuck with it, but more frustrated that I want to finish it to see just how bad ii is and even more frustrating, almost knowing how not in favour it will end

Let me tell you, this book had me in a CHOKEHOLD!! Confused somewhat because it seems like the first part of the store was completely irrelevant after she married Dante. Then the store timeline changes for how they met and get together. The multiple names were mind boggling for a minute, then you realize who is who. Liora makes you was to put her in time out for lack of better words. Where is the rest of the story because I KNOW this isn’t the end??

This emotional werewolf romance follows Elodie, seems so far to be like cursed with heartbreaking fate. She has been rejected and overlooked by not one, but two fated mates, leaving her to question her worth and destiny. The story is filled with pain, longing, secrets, and hope, while Elodie refuses to give up on herself. I loved watching her grow stronger despite everything she endured. A captivating paranormal romance with emotional depth, memorable characters, and a satisfying journey toward happiness.

It is good, my only problem or confusion is the fact that the beginning of the story is set different and the person or alpha she is in love with is a totally different person and her beginning back story is different, just all of a sudden the story is different, maybe it's two different stories but I feel cheated on first story. I would really have closure from the first story I think her and Callougn could have come together after a while

This novel really irritated me at first because she found the strength to leave a toxic relationship to land in another. And then knowing she was in a toxic relationship didn't want to change or escape. But as it went on, her character development was amazing to watch. This should not be the end. I am fully vested now and have so much i want to know and see of her future. Is there perhaps a sequel where the story continues?

It is confusing which story we are meant to follow here... where is the first alpha gone who was ready to burn the world for her simple no and yeah alright. New story, mum how can you leave your child... aparently dude is rich but you go to work and leave your own child for months! You want to leave you give divorce papers but still working for him waiting for replacement for who knows how long. Feels all bit wrong here.
