Alpha's Regret: Losing His True Mate Reviews

It started out as one story, but then switched to another. Very confusing and irritating. I kept reading and did get interested in the second storyline. I was enjoying the story, but the author just up and left us with a very unsatisfying ending. Everything in the story was just left hanging. There needs to be another book to wrap up all the different character storylines. If this is the absolute ending for this story, it is not worth your time or money to read.

To many storylines that aren’t connected. Pick one and stick with it. Preferably the first one. The Calhoun storyline. Who changes stories and completely rewrites the characters history in the middle of the story. It makes no sense. I assume this is an AI story from the lack on consistency it has. I think my 10 year old grand daughter can do better at writing a consistent story than this writer is. It’s not worth the money to read it.

In all honesty the book started off great Elodi was strong, Mika was a great friend and Calhoun was an aggravating choice of man but I was curious to see how the story would continue with these people. When the story showed she’d moved on I was ok with that. But then the story changed completely. Like the first relationship. With Calhoun no longer existed. The back story became inconsistent, she met Dante and left her dreams right after work. But she was already done school and working for Calhoun for years. Mila was never mentioned again and the story blossomed into another story entirely. One very similar to another story with a different. And and characters but exactly starts off the same. She comes home hoping for a little family birthday time for herself and daughter is making a bday gift for the mistress. Husband and daughter bother want the mistress and she leaves giving away custody and started her life in tech, in research etc. and moved on with life, still doing her due diligence to her daughter as the person who gave birth but just the bare minimum.

It’s normal for novels to never be finished. However, I’m surprised that with over 230 chapters this author couldn’t come to a conclusion for the reader. I was expecting as such. There was a great deal of heartache experienced by the main character that was never resolved. I feel residual sadness over her losses and have nowhere to put it. Perhaps I’m not the only one who feels this way and will read reviews before starting my next novel.

What a horrible ending! Never mind the missing chapters and total confusion of the change in character names. Also, the title has nothing to do with the book until the last page of the last chapter. I kept reading because I actually liked the story line. But, if I knew it was going to end like that, I wouldn’t have spent all the coins to read it. For instance, Dante suddenly doesn’t want to divorce, but does that mean he’s still going to see Sienna, and what tricks will Sienna use when she finds out Dante’s doesn’t want a divorce? Will Elodie eventually agree to reconcile, or will Dante continuously try? Who was Elodie going to meet with Dr. Nolan and what was she working on? My suggestion, don’t waste your time or money!

Loving the story line. Some chapters are just really short, so not really getting anything new out of the story for the coins spent. But still excited to see where this story will go. Would have liked to know how Calhoun was doing in this pasted 6 years while Elodie is basically struggeling in love again. Is he still waiting on her? Keeping tabs on her? So many scenarios and then also the background info coming through at random stages of the book.........

This us the second time l read this book. It is heartbreaking what Elora went thru ,how could Dante just dismiss the mother of his child . It is so heartbreaking when she see how her stepsister took over her child and her husband like she was nothing. El has to be a very strong to endure all of the pain of losing her child and to endure all the coldness she taken from Dante. I can't wait till she shows everyone up.

Elodie is, I hate to say it, but kind of pathetic. She does not know how to communicate in relationships. I can't help but think she's at least 50 percent responsible for how horrible they have turned out because she has no boundaries. She needs to realize she is reliving her childhood over and over again. Hopefully she will do inner work and find that suffering in silence only hurts her. If I knew she was this pathetic from the beginning I would have rooted for her to get back with Calhoun. At least he realized what he lost and would have valued her if she came back. But it sounds like she will just learn to crawl in a hole and be alone. Seems to be just a pile on all the hopelessness you can. Kind of depressing 😕 but still interesting enough to keep reading while I have a down day.

I was looking for a happy ending. I wanted to see Sienna get what’s coming to her. Really disappointed at ending. Is there a second book? We were left hanging. Really was hoping our heroine would get the recognition she deserves. She worked so hard and she’s so smart. She deserved some recognition. I thought for sure she would receive credit for all her accomplishments. I wanted to see her and her husband reconcile and be better parents to Liora. Please tell me this isn’t the end.

I loved how Elodie stayed true to herself and went ahead with the divorce. Was rooting for Harry and Elodie would start dating. Waiting for the time everyone finds out Elodie wrote CUAP and was Professor Nolans greatest student. Would've loved to read Sienna and the rest of the family taken down a notch or two. Sophia Would've had meltdown if Harry and Elodie had gotten together. I didn't like that Liora would rather be with Sienna and Dante than her own mom. At least Daisy treasured Elodie.
