I absolutely enjoyed reading this book Alpha of the Shadows and I am so excited to read the next book Call Me Alpha which is the first book of the series. The overall story line was really interesting super creative writing and I had to be hooked around chapter twenty two or twenty four. I was thoroughly in love with Lucianna sweet attitude and zest for her life so when her mate Alpha Jacob treated her less than stellar I was ready to help her runaway however I remained hopeful once our Alpha became remorseful and I always route for love ❤️ when it’s not toxic.

I really liked this story and story one (Ash and Aiden) that led right into this one. I had wondered if the enchantress could have helped if she had known the whole story. Then when Ash and Aiden were coming to visit, I did think of Quillon. It was good to know that Aiden and Jacob are good Alphas that get along well. This makes for a larger family. I am looking forward to book three and then reading the other stories by this author.

The storyline is good, however it is not that easy to read in places. A lot of editing is required for it to make sense.in some places names seem switched and also he and she, making it a little frustrating as you have to keep going over it to work out what is meant.i have read something very similar before but that was a while back, almost like a half of the story is the same.

This book has a lot of drama, and I really hated the Alpha at first, and I still feel like he don't deserve her, but idk we'll see how the story ends. I really hope for a good ending. Don't feel like his shadow thing is any type of excuse to cheat. And I'm wondering if it's the mating bond making her feel like she likes him cause after everything how could you remotely stand the person that did that type of sh*t to you.

It's a very cool story, the characters are outlined very well. I like that these characters express their feelings and talk about what they live and feel. I understand the writing mistakes but it bothers me when they jump from one thing to another without any connection...now something happens and then something else without there being a bridge between these events. On the other hand, I can say that I am caught up in this story and I can't wait to see how it evolves and ends. Good luck to the writer in the future!

I am not sure how to rate this novel, to me it seems like part of it was dragging through the irrelevant part of story when important part was simply skipped, flying over and many questions remained unanswered like the gender of their kid, what happened to his shadow gift, her friends cure was explained with one sentence and so on. main chars often acted stupid, more than bearable and although I finished this book, I'm not sure it's worth reading
