Review after the novel completion

Overall, the story and characters were great. Couldn't wait to read each chapter. One note for improvement--need someone to reread and do some editing to the last half. There are a couple of large discrepancies between first half and second half (werewolf vs human; etc). It makes it a bit difficult to realign your brain. I also missed her work and warrior skills in 2nd half. Once aligned, this will be unstoppable and more folks will be clamoring for this wonderful story!

Review after half of the novel

Loving thus light ready, it's displays the respect the main characters have for each that strengthened their love relationship. Can't stand Sarah and Vanessa and im hoping Harrold gets gone soon his archaic mind set and poor relationship skills and desire to kill the good grates me, Jessica and Maria are perfect accompaniments in thus gourges story, looking for to ready the rest of the book all the little ups and downs, and Tom's and Harrolds dirty antics keeps it interesting against the love story.

Review after the novel completion

I have just finished this novel, the absolute bees knees. Well edited, great plot, in places exciting, in others thought-provoking. The writing was really excellent with good descriptions of people, places, buildings, scenery and seasons. Great thought going into explaining different luna information which was fascinating. Big positive - the chapters where longer than many novels makes it a better read average 30 pages. The beginning, middle and ending were like separate books but really interesting and well-thought out. *Enjoyable * 10 out of 10 *

Review after the novel completion

Wonderful story, well written, with some twist and turns. Kept you on your toes at times. Loved it from the beginning to the end, the different things Sophie had to learn, her abilities as a human. The love these two shared for one another was really exciting and nervous. Reading how his father was, thru me as a surprise. Anyone reading this book, look out for a great story, with all the emotions. From the beginning to the end..

Review after the novel completion

This was a great read, until it wasn’t. Lots of twists & turns. Sophie was strong, smart & fairly well developed. However, gave it 3 stars for a couple reasons. Several plot lines were left open. Sophie’s bloodline, where she came from, why people feared her. Dangled throughout but never closed. Random things inserted with no development like Marcus getting engaged. Friendships established but not continued like Jessica. Sophie’s involvement in the company just disappears. During the final fight with psycho ex, they knew it was coming were prepared for it but left Sophie unguarded & doing her regular routine and she seemed genuinely surprised & acted like she was incapable of taking care of herself. But the absolute most egregious thing was that for 95% of the book Sophie is a wolf. Has her wolf, her wolf reacts to things, she fights as a wolf. Then all of a sudden she gets pregnant & is apparently now human. Lots of references to her being human. Human pregnancy, hybrid baby. Plays in the snow & is cold because she’s human. It took away from the incredibly strong wolf, capable leader and Luna that the author had developed her into. Once human Sophie was depicted as weak, soft, vulnerable and afraid of everything. It seems it was used to add additional plot lines for the council and text threat that comes in. But there was no point. The council meeting could have expanded on traditional issues. The text threat was undeveloped. Zero need or reason to take her from wolf to human. Instead of wrapping it up with a lovely ending where everyone lived happily ever after the author destroyed the entire plot line and character development by making Sophie appear weak, scared & nothing like the fighter she was written as. Absolutely maddening.

Review after half of the novel

This novel delivers a gripping, well-paced plot that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each twist feels purposeful and satisfying, building toward a rewarding conclusion. The main characters are especially strong—layered, relatable, and full of personality—making it easy to become emotionally invested in their journeys. Their growth adds depth to an already compelling story. Altogether, it’s an engaging and memorable read that leaves a lasting impression long after you turn the final page. I truly appreciate your work.
