This is the second of the series that I can't put down. I started the first book last week, and it was so awesome to see the fighter that was rejected by 5 creatures become the queen that steals the heart of everyone who meets her. Hoping to see the daughter in a future novel as maybe a teen or young adult. I would also like to see her meeting members of the pack that the queen originally came from, and explaining the significance of the five stripes on the queen's wolf tail.

This was a fantastic second book in this series. Now we have learned more about the vampires and their Empire and how difficult it can be to grow and learn from each other even after a devastating war between two kingdoms. I love how secondary characters are now having the primary love arcs and how different people can react to the same pain in different ways. But second chances are always possible, especially if you put hard work into it. I’d say that the main theme of this entire book was second chances, and that was so beautiful in my eyes. We all make mistakes, but can we learn from them and move forward if a second chance is presented to us?

Absolutely love these books so much I cannot wait to read the next books about the huntresses, witches and Merfolk I accidentally started reading the last book first so I’m excited I stopped and started reading tge 5 time gamma and then continued reading the individual books they take me to another world especially after a long day being a mum and doing all the lovely mum things I must do throughout the book so being able to read these books whilst putting my little one to bed is by far the best.

I'm in love with this author! The writing style fits the way my mind works and keeps me intrigued, holding my attention through every twist and turn. After getting to know the characters in the first book, I couldn't wait to see what happened in the second book. There are good back stories for each character as they come into focus, strong character development, and the author expertly weaves her way through the story line without letting you know where she's going. Bring on the next book!

Really enjoyed reading book two. I could hardly put my phone down & spent my holiday abroad reading whenever I had a spare moment. It was great to have some returning friends/family as well as some vampires. But unlike the vampires we tend to see in books or films these days, these vampires are different from each other which made them more interesting to read about. It’s definitely not a book for anyone below the age of 16-18 years of age. I’m looking forward to book three.

I have ABSOLUTELY come to love this authors work! This is the second book in the series and let me tell you..... I'm hooked! I cried when the last book finished, not knowing the was another that continued our heroine's story. Lucy and Xander drew me in, made me laugh, cry and yell along with the characters, (to the point where I received MANY odd looks from my husband)! 🤣 I'm just so glad the author, like me, felt that their story, although having finished, was not done being told! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I can't wait to discover what else this author has written!!!

The book 1 focused mainly on lucianne and it is good but I like how book 2 are focusing on other characters and shedding light on their back stories. Though Lucy is still the main character, most of the side characters do not really feel like side characters anymore. I just want a good ending for Greg because I have always liked him from book 1 except from when he first met Lucy but after then, he was likable. I honestly did not have any expectation for book 2 but so far, it is good and a better than book 1.

Absolutely love this series. I enjoy that all the main ensemble of characters are real adults and not another coming of age rejection trope. It has some adult/smut content but at the appropriate times and it keeps with the plot of the story but it isn’t the center of the story. There is such amazing character development and depth. I look forward to reading the next books in the series. I have always loved mystery novels and this is the perfect combo of fantasy & mystery as more gets unlocked. Whether is backstory or folklore. Thank you to the author for the well written and researched characters and story!

I loved how you gave a chapter to specific characters to follow how they were going thru overcoming obstacles, finding love, reconnecting to give this sequel more depth. Looking forward to reading the sequels, especially how they will bring a light to the craving found in the castle. Hopefully there will be more on Reida, the twins and Stella. Be interested to see if the Alissa's triplets will be in the sequel 's. Thank you for the suspense, drama, comical, sadness, happiness. Great read
