Verwacht vooral emotionele drama, aantrekkingskracht tussen tegenpolen en een flinke dosis romantiek, maar geen bijzonder diepgaande of literaire roman.De chemie tussen Coleen en Hayden zorgt voor veel spanning en romantiek. Fans van hockeyromances zullen genieten van de sportieve setting en de universiteitssfeer. Hayden maakt een duidelijke karakterontwikkeling door van arrogante rivaal naar beschermende love interest.

I love a good enemies to lovers book! So excited to see what their relationship will blossom in to. I think Coleen deserves to be treated with love and respect and Hayden deserves to feel loved and respected. Both of them have a past that is dark and traumatic. But I feel they can work together to be the best version of who they can be. It has already been shown how they can trust each other and be supportive for one another.

Other than 2 chapters repeating, it was good reading. Not completely sure how the story ends though as when I logged back in, it said I had completed the book. If there is a sequel with the four main characters, it might be great. The plot dragged on a bit at times, and perhaps the repeating of some of the plot was necessary, since many of the chapters were short, it had to be that way to drag the story on.

This was a great novel. The story line was good and it captivated my mind and held my attention very well. It was very creative. I really enjoyed reading this. The only issue I had was with grammar and punctuation, other than that it was a fantastic read. If I could suggest something it would be that the readers did not have to wait that long between chapters and that the chapters were longer so it does not cost so much to read. The author is very creative, imaginative, and provides a lot of content to keep the reader engaged.

There are two issues I have with the story. I think it needs a proof reader. Words are missing, English is not always correct, but nothing to huge there. The other is a lack in hockey knowledge. The Stanley Cup is the NHL trophy. There are three collage trophies that depend on which division the school is in. Just constructive feedback. Please keep writing. This has a slow progression, but flows pretty well. I still like it better than some popular published books!

Loved it! Interesting characters with both ups and downs. Some conflict but also some normal couple scenes. Loved the balance between good and bad times. Felt like they were very resilient and still real. Liked the nerd and jock angle. Support characters were always interesting and provided interesting points of view. Would read more by this author in the future. Liked that they were tackling issues as a team and as individuals. Definitely remember this book and author. Two thumbs
