Review after half of the novel

Contractual Bride is a captivating and emotionally layered story that explores love, duty, and personal growth in a compelling way. From the very beginning, the premise draws you in—a marriage built not on romance but on obligation and agreement. What makes this book particularly interesting is how it transforms a seemingly cold arrangement into a journey filled with tension, vulnerability, and unexpected connection. The characters are well-developed and relatable. The female lead stands out for her resilience and quiet strength, navigating a situation that challenges her independence while still holding onto her sense of self. The male lead, though initially distant and rigid, gradually reveals depth and complexity, making his transformation one of the most engaging aspects of the story. Their evolving relationship feels organic, moving from awkward coexistence to something far more meaningful. One of the strongest elements of the book is its emotional pacing. The author does not rush the development of the relationship, allowing readers to experience every moment of conflict, hesitation, and gradual trust-building. This slow-burn approach makes the eventual emotional payoff even more satisfying. The dialogue is also a highlight, often carrying the weight of unspoken feelings and tension between the characters. Beyond romance, Contractual Bride touches on themes such as societal expectations, sacrifice, and the idea of love growing in unexpected circumstances. It raises questions about whether genuine affection can emerge from obligation—and answers it in a way that feels both hopeful and realistic. Overall, this is an engaging read for anyone who enjoys romance with depth and emotional complexity. It keeps you invested from start to finish and leaves a lasting impression so far so good. Hopefully till the end

The ending does not make sense. There so many unfinished story lines, what happened to Victoria , how did the latest branding campaign go? How did the real marriage between Alex and Olivia progress ? What about James an Penelope ? This just feels so wrong on so may different levels . Maybe this is a strategy to prepare for part 2 ? And also there were too many of the same scripted steamy scenes , it seemed like every two pages there was a steamy scene

Lovely story, 👏 👏 Just a pity it does not have an ending 😔 can not understand why it says it has been updated but does not go past chapter 340. How does one get to read the full story?? This app has lovely stories but it is not first one that does not have an ending. You make us pay and then do not finish the stories. As soon as I finally the points I have I will remove this app

The ending is terrible. Left too much hanging. The author spent WAY TOO many chapters with sex. They could have made it just as good using good writing. The story line is good apart from that, which wasted money. The ending really needs to be better and not just chopped off. What happened with Olivia, Victoria, Penelope, and Thomas? Too much left unanswered. Too much not needed for the storyline.

So far I'm loving this book the pacing isn't too slow where you're wondering when it's going to get better yet it's not too fast where you're thinking wow that happened already. I've read a couple of these books similar to this and I love how Olivia isn't getting swept up in Alexander's world too soon she's going at her own pace but I can't wait to see how her cheating ex and her horrible ex friend find out about her upgrade.

This book was amazing. I enjoyed Alex and dreamed of him in my sleep. I anguished for his touch while reading chapter after chapter. Some night I would read well into the mornings not being able to stop. I felt that after all that the author left the book unfinished. There is no ending. Lots of questions left without an answer. Example what happens with Victoria and Thomas? We all know Alex will keep the Company. I guess I was just wanting more.

Review after half of the novel

I like almost everything about this novel so far. All characters are realistic and the language with curses makes dialogues funny and reliable. I like how women are gossiping especially about intimacy ralated things when they are alone. The inner thoughts of Olivia, that makes her horny sometimes feels a little bit too much, but I must admit it adds to create intensity and curiousity "when they are going to do it?". I found some "mistakes", like penthhouse with 3 bedrooms, but when Olivia stays at night somehow there is only sofa and Alexander's bed as the options to sleep. But it doesn't bother me too much.

Very captivating. Nice stores . The stores are well structured and so well described. I literally can’t stop reading . I wish it was more economical. It’s gets pretty expensive . That would be my only negative point . Other than that I really recommend it . This is my second story and I must say it’s one of the best so far. I hope that all the other stories are as good. I give it this a five star easily . ♥️

Review after half of the novel

Omg I love this book I can’t wait to see what happens! It seems like every chapter is so short because I have so much anticipation for what will happen next between Olivia and Alexander. Like wow I can’t believe she is so lucky, no blessed to land such a deal! I’m wondering how soon it’ll take for them to fall in love with each other. It’s clearly meant to be and written in the stars for them!

Alexander and Olivia, what a world win love story. I'm relieved that they finally figured it out that they love each other. Olivia was so hung up on the "contract" and would not embrace that the feeling she has was love. Everyone said to her, do you see how he looks at you? I think Alexander was also afraid to let his feelings be known. They have a healthy sexual attraction to each other. I just want the order and the wording not be alone repeat, not every encounter should be the same. I waiting to see how they get Victoria and Penelope off there backs. Those women are relentless. Maybe Thomas grows a pair and winds up helping Alexander. Wouldn't that be great! I'm ready for more chapters. Good Novel, would recommend.
