Prologue: Tasha’s Pain

“What?,” Tasha yelled from the opened door as her eyes darted to the bed area, to see a woman who appeared to be in her late twenties rise up from the bed, with the sheets covering her chest. Quickly, she sauntered towards the door, her seven inches stilettos clicked against the floor, as though she was announcing her entrance.

The lady on the bed fidgety was putting on her dress, still staring at Tasha with so much fear. A hot breath expelled from her lips as she forced herself to settle into the bed, a bid to calm her erratically beating heart.

Tasha Reynolds had been married to Derek for three years and it had not been the marriage she had always wanted. As a fresh college graduate with no experience, she knew finding a well paying job wasn’t in the card for her. While searching for jobs, navigating websites, she stumbled upon Derek Reynolds page and one thing led to another until she found herself being married to him. Tasha wanted a life without any sort of stress and Derek perfectly suited her desire but lately did she find out that all that glitters isn’t gold.

Pressing her palm on her thighs, she attempted to straighten the crease on her leather skirt. Truly, she was burning with rage by just the sight of the woman on her matrimonial bed. It wasn’t the first time but this time it was the way the lady sat so comfortably and naked on the bed—her matrimonial bed.

“What are you doing here?,” Tasha asked after being in her thoughts for a while.

“I..I’m s-sorry Mrs Reynolds, your husband asked me to wait here for him, it wasn’t quite long since he left,” the lady stuttered, still covered by the sheets, unsure of what to do.

“Are you stupid? Are you mad?,” Tasha’s anger increased by ten folds, “This is my marriage bed and you are comfortable lying naked and waiting for someone else’s husband!! Are you unfortunate??”

“I’m sorry ma’am, I didn’t mean to. Mr Reynolds asked me to wait for him,” the lady’s anxiety increased from the heat of her stare, and she felt mer mouth suddenly dry up.

Tasha sank into the couch, her thoughts struck her heart mercilessly like dagger stabbing into her heart and yanking hard on it to intensify her hurt. She still couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that the same man she’d thought shared the same feelings with her had been using her without remorse, he would deliberately cheat on her and he wouldn’t even lie or feel sorry about it.

“I’m sorry ma’am,” The lady said, disrupting her thoughts before walking out of the room.

Tasha’s eyes followed her closely to see if she was missing something but she didn’t see anything special in her looks. As a matter of fact, the lady wasn’t even as endowed as she is.

“Tasha, why did you send my visitor away?” Derek spoke in relaxed tone, her name slipping from his lips in a drawl, drawing her away from her reverie.

Tasha’s head whipped in his direction, eyes wide as saucers and lips closed.

“Excuse me? Your visitor?” She spat out before she could control herself.

“You heard me right, Tasha. Why did you send my visitor away? You have no right to do that!!!”

“Derek, she was on our bed, how can you bring a lady to our bed? “ she questioned, still in shock.

“Tasha, I am your husband, and you have no right to make decision or question my decision. This is my house, Tasha!!”

“But you’re my Patner, Derek. I love you…

“No Tasha, you don’t have lie. You know I’m the worst husband and you want to get rid of me so bad,”

“Derek, please..”

How had she fallen into such a messy situation? what even brought her in this in the first place? This isn’t how she imagined her marriage to be, this isn't what she dreamt of.

“Anything I do in this house is none of your business, Tasha. Maybe you should concern yourself with how you would spend my money and live your best life, instead of worrying about my business.”

His word struck her heart mercilessly like daggers stabbing into her heart and yanking hard on it to intensify her hurt. She still couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that the same man that made her feel so good after their wedding was saying such hurtful things to her.

“I’m sorry,” the urge to let the tears threatening to choke her fall freely was a lot to handle but she told herself she wouldn’t shed anymore tears for him.

“D*mn! You just killed my mood, I would’ve been having a great time,” Derek sighed, walking away from her sight.

The Divorce

One evening, Tasha was laying in bed, waiting for her husband, Derek, who was on a call in his home office to join her in bed. They had just had dinner when he’d excused himself to take the call that came in,as they were about to retire for bed.

Tasha laid on the king-sized bed, smiling to herself as thoughts of the previous night filled her memories. Derek had pampered her into a peaceful sleep after a thorough love-making session that had left her sated and breathless. Thinking of these moments had her body coming to life, as she began to feel her n*ppl*s tighten into hard buds. A moan slipped out of her lips when she turned to her side and the sheer silk material of her nightgown grazed the hard buds. Biting down on her bottom lip, she pressed her legs together ,allowing her imaginations to take over and prepare for Derek.

Luckily for her, the bedroom door slid open and Derek walked in holding an envelope, stealing her attention from the fantasy she had
