The Alpha King And The Hunt Reviews

The novel itself is amazing, I can’t seem to put it down. But the downside of it is that, it doesn’t look like it was proofread enough, some of the character details change and there are even some repeat pages and paragraphs which I think throw off the flow of the book. I wish these details were viewed and fixed more, either by author or editor. But over all the book is amazing so far, I can’t wait to see what happens in the end!

I really like this book. It’s very intriguing because most of the novels that I read don’t include vampires. So it’s nice to have a little bit of a variety play a part. I do hope that aria unlocks whatever it is that she needs to unlock because that has me pretty intrigued. It’s a slow start to the intense parts, but I imagine it’ll be worth it the more I read. I’m at the part where they are still adventuring to see the seer. Although I’m confused on when aria told them that she was part witch? Or whatever it is. I guess I either misread that or I skipped over it somehow. I thought she was told by her mom not to say anything.

The story is enjoyable and well written, either revised or carefully written. However, there are too many plot twists. It's like those tv shows that run for 10 seasons, each ending on a plot twist and the series only ends when the audience base starts to dwindle. I usually can't get past the third or fourth season. Instead of adding more and more obstacles, original obstacles should be elaborated and expanded. The build towards the creation of a god-like character can be a little tiresome.
