I enjoyed the novel. It had its ups and downs but it was exciting. I loved that Nadine found that her ancestors were part of the scheme. Great to have records of past relatives and their descendants and how things evolved because of them. Loved how Sara finally realized that Adam loved her. Such a sheltered life she led but that was due to Kai’s overwhelming love to shelter and protect her. Teresa was a dear person and mother to them. All ends well.

This book is pretty good! I was not sure if I would like it since it is the first book that I have read about a kidnapped damsel. Watching Kai and Nadine slowly fall for each other is infuriating and delicious. If you look pass Kai's nonchalant attitude, he is quite charming and cheeky! I am ready for Nadine to look pass the beast and give in to her true feelings for Kai. The best is yet to come and I can't wait!
