This story has been surprising. It's making me think about circumstances that I've never considered before. Are there instances where people with immigration issues are treated almost as slaves and are misused as this person has been? So far, this story has been heartfelt with believable characters and also a mystery in the background. It continues to slowly build and I'm enjoying it and am looking forward to what happens next. I do recommend it. It's a good read.

I like the story so far. It’s different from what I expected, more focused on characters and less on the sport. I have a lot of questions that still need to be answered regarding Madison’s background that I’m hoping will be clarified in upcoming chapters. I definitely did not see the twist with Maverick’s mom coming at all! That was a major shocker. I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes from this point forward.

Very good novel. Interesting story, full of drama, romance & all round good feeling storyline. It was well written and put together enjoyable to follow. My only criticism is during the middle the storyline started to drag and there appeared to be too many pointless chapters to go through to see what had happened. I got bored and I did skip some chapter just to find out what happened it was dragging to long for me.. I did go back to read the chapters I missed it was a good novel that I didn't just give up on.
