Mine to Take Reviews

The story has potential but the unfolding of events is a bit slow and there are a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes. At times there will be repeated words or missing ones altogether. The writer should have put in more effort in proofreading their work to present readers with better content. With all that being said, I will be reading till the end to see how the events unfold. There are interesting events and the two main characters are good together even if they don’t know it yet.

I liked this book better than some of the others on this site. Even though the story was very formulaic, complete with the evil sister (who turns out to be her half sister) along with the abusive family. Definitely written in another language and translated to English because they still punish women with whips in this story. That doesn’t sit well with me. But this story isn’t as long and drawn out as some of the others, so it moved along at a good clip.

Loved this one! Pretty sure some names were used in some of the chapters, but overall a good read. I couldn't help but cry along with the characters and wanted to beat the crap out of the younger sister! What a B! I honestly couldn't help but root for Asher and Lily. Every story always has to have a villain and I was so glad to learn Lily wasn't really a Morgan and was thankful that she wound up with a family that loved her unconditionally. Now I'm wondering if there is a sequal since Charlotte spoke of a gift that will come in several years??

I enjoyed reading this story, from start to finish. Lots of twists and turns. The ending had a few surprises and the characters all got to where they were meany to be. I imagine in a future follow up there would be details on lavish lifestyle and how the respective businesses all fare. I do wonder about Liam. Odd ball from the off, and Charlotte was awful from start to finish. I am curious as to what surprise she left in wait. Look forward to sequel.

This book is so good that I got hooked! These things really happen in reality where there’s rivalry between siblings. What is so disheartening is parents clearly choosing and supporting one over another. This author has tackled this issue in a good way and I can’t wait to finish this and read others from this author. I love love this book. This book also made me very emotional, sometimes moving away from situations that makes us sad is the best. This book is so good that I got hooked! Although I have seen a few books with this same storyline ( I am not sure which one came first ), I was intrigued nonetheless. So far, I have been happy with my choice to read it. ' Mine To Take ' introduces darker elements and 'spiciness' without making you feel gross, shameful or too overwhelmed - - which is a very fine line to walk. Kudos to the author 👏 I'm looking forward to more of their other works.
