"It's normal for an Alpha to have two mates, Winter. A few months ago, I realized Crystal is also my mate—and I can't ignore that." Kallias said calmly. He looked at me with that same arrogant certainty. "I won't release you as my Luna. I'll make history, Winter—one Alpha, two Lunas." For a moment, I could only stare at him. Then I smiled bitterly. "I, Winter Ashbane of the Winterwood Pack, reject you, Kallias Thorn, as my mate. From this moment on, you are nothing to me." I thought my life was perfect—an Alpha's wife, loved and cherished, destined for a happy future. Until the healers told me I could never bear a child. My maid and closest friend, Crystal, offered to be our surrogate. I believed in her kindness… until the night of the attack. She pushed me into the fire, and my husband chose to save her instead. When I woke from the flames, I learned she was carrying his child—and he called it fate. He said it was natural for an Alpha to have two mates. He said he would build a pack with two Lunas. The woman who once lived for love died that night. Now, I am no longer the gentle Luna they once adored but a broken soul burning with vengeance. I will give anything—do anything—even if it means striking a deadly bargain with Valtor North, the Rogue King feared by every Alpha. But fate is cruel. A dangerous, forbidden desire ignites between me and the man I should hate—the sworn enemy of my kind. Torn between duty and desire, I face the ultimate choice: conquer the storm… or let it consume me whole.

I am enjoying it so far. I mean I understand the rouge king but how long will he grieve. I wonder if Winter cares if her ex mate dies. Honestly he is bad and is freaking crazy. Also, that's what his luna he chose over her get. Talking all that stuff. I wonder if the witch can be trusted? She rubs me wrong and is creepy. I will continue this book and hopefully it doesn't turn out. But it's ok.
