Good read, usually I’m not a fan of forced relationships being rushed into something intimate but the author played it out well. I wish though at some point she shows more change of the main character. But other than that it’s getting good. I definitely will be finishing this one! I hope to see if the author has more books as this was good. This novel started out with conflict and drama which draws you in. As the story develops the author loses sight on furthering the story line for some of the main characters. After Suzi's announcement to her parents that she is pregnant and her standing up to her abusive father, they are dropped from the story line. Why wouldn't they be invited to the gender reveal party? And when Ricco's history and age is revealed, there's no resolution. Ricco literally disappears into the shadows. There's no involving him in the family even though he is Landon's cousin. If the story involved his making peace with the past and joining the family business, it would have made a more interesting choice as a romantic interesting for Sky.

Loved this book even having to pay for it! The humor, love & crazy scary Mafia chaos is worth it!! Would love a sequel!!! Max is serious mafia scary but, his humorous comments are the best especially at the end of the book!!! I will be looking for more books to read that this author has written for sure. If you can and want a good and completed read this is one of those books!! I hate starting an ongoing book end up never finishing them.

This book was well written enough. A few mistakes here and there, but nothing to bother over. I had a hard time getting into the characters though. Loved Max in the beginning and even the middle, but somewhere towards the end of this book the main characters seemed to completely change in personality. Unfortunately it was into people I didn't really enjoy reading about any more. I actually didn't read it for a few weeks because Suzi was getting a little too annoying. Overall a decent book, but nothing I'll be reading again.

Beautiful! She got the fairytale ending of being loved and belonging... She is living like a real queen in her own kingdom. Loved and cherished by her husband. The cruel times she endured by her own father is a thing of the past. From a frightened and shy girl she became a very strong confident lady. Even more brave in the moment of the kidnapping. She is really the epitome of an evolving spirit. Her mom could've been more in the story just so she can experience how strong her daughter was.

Beautiful ending after all the chaos and harsh words she finally got her happy ending. She grew stronger with the love of a strong man who was so intimidating but with her so gentle, the only person who got to see the softer side of the mafia boss. I would definitely recommended this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of chaos with unrequited love. I couldn’t put it down and would read a sequel if there ever is one

I thought the book was good. It was balanced. Enough drama and romance. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I loved the characterizations, very descriptive. Suzi really came into her own personality. It felt like she was actually given a chance at life. Max was a little over the top but still overall good. I would have like to figure out what happened to the antagonist after he slipped out. I was hoping there would be a part two eventually. Good book!!

I absolutely love reading this story book. I can’t seem to put it down. The story of Max and Suzi is a breath of fresh air; it is not the usual story line and also it is not the usual hero and heroine characters either. I have never come across a character quite like Suzi. She is beautiful in her own right, yet she has grown up believing other wise. There is a lot of room for her character to shine through ❤️

This is a great GREAT novel. Very well written, with the right amount of suspense and heartbreak and SO much love, romance and humour! One of the few pics I read that made me actually laugh ot loud 😁 This fic is absolutely one that I'll re-read over and over. Good job author! From the way it's written and formatted, this author is definetely an experienced author. Such a joy to read. Bravo author. Now I need to go looking for other fics written by you. 😁
