Fake Dating My Ex's Favourite Hockey Player Reviews
What's Up
I truly liked this book. However, the ending was strange. She deserved her happy ending. Zane was very nasty to her, the fiancee and his daughter. The end needs to be re-wrote. In the last chapter, her sister did not make sense to talk to her sister that way. Her best friend was pregnant (what happened to that baby). The best friend found someone to love her before she got pregnant. What happened to him.

Great book just taking longer to get to the point. I mean Liam and Rm have been going in circles it would be nice if we could get them to finally be together, she needs a real love and not the drama given by Zane. It will also be nice to reunite her with her parents and she can be her self old instead of this poor bakery owner. She needs to shine and not hide anymore and be reunited with her family

This story is riveting! I want to know everything. How could they possibility say that Emilia murdered her brother? Do her parents blame her? Have they been looking for her? What's the deal with Liam and Jessica? Is he the cause of her emotional issues? Why is he the way that he is with relationships? What happened to him? I'm so involved right now. I can't stop reading. The characters are so real. I think this book could be a movie, just not on the Lifetime channel.

Some lovely sentiment in it so far. Love the different characters and their quirks. The story gets you involved quickly to make you want go keep reading. Some lovely sweet moments, as well as sad moments full of emotion, along with laugh out loud moments. A real good mix of feelings. Descriptive story that’s easy to read. Would love to hear more from Liam’s point of view earlier on in the storyline, I like the multiple point of view.

This book had EVERYTHING — heartbreak, tension, jealousy, forced proximity, and the most satisfying romantic payoff. I was hooked from the first chapter. The storyline follows a woman who spent 10 years with her hockey player boyfriend, only for him to suddenly end things and get engaged to someone else. As if that wasn’t brutal enough… he invites her on their month-long wedding cruise. The emotional damage starts immediately. 😭 But then she ends up going on the cruise with another hockey player — and not just any player, a bigger, more famous star than her ex. Watching their relationship develop was SO good. The chemistry, the banter, the tension… every scene between them had me kicking my feet. Meanwhile, her ex slowly realizing what he lost? Absolutely delicious. What I loved most was that the romance wasn’t rushed. You really feel her heartbreak, healing, and growing confidence throughout the story. And the new love interest wasn’t just there to make the ex jealous — he genuinely cared for her in a way she had clearly been missing for years.

Loving it so far, can’t wait to see how things go with Emilia and Liam! Hate the fact that Zane has such a hold over her and also so glad she got out of that narcissist’s grip. She deserves so much good and I hope, Liam helps her find her worth and to see how much she is capable of! I think this authors writing is so concise and the descriptions are stunning. Really looking forward to getting in to it more!

Could you not have skipped the proposal and wedding? It was all she wanted, and it is just hanging out there unresolved. And to end the book on Lacey, she was a Subordinate character. Let you main characters shine. What happened to Stone and Zane with the trials, what happened to Liam and Emilia, what happened to Diana? You need to finish what you started. I liked the book, but everything felt open and uneasy at the end because the only thing that was resolved was Lacey finally having a child. Is she with Aaron? Is she alone? There are no answers. You quit on your characters and this book. I was really disappointed in how it ended.

There are some inconsistencies with the story and time-line. But this is actually my favorite book to be reading right now. And I have four in rotation. I am with to look past certain things that do not make sense. Because the overall story is not overly sexualized. I appreciate that. I'm glad that ads arean option to not have to pay for the chapters. But does it need to be three ads per chapter to get there? It's making this book take longer to complete than necessary. Oh... and there are too many chapters. But I'll keep going.. for now!
