I truly liked this book. However, the ending was strange. She deserved her happy ending. Zane was very nasty to her, the fiancee and his daughter. The end needs to be re-wrote. In the last chapter, her sister did not make sense to talk to her sister that way. Her best friend was pregnant (what happened to that baby). The best friend found someone to love her before she got pregnant. What happened to him.

Great book just taking longer to get to the point. I mean Liam and Rm have been going in circles it would be nice if we could get them to finally be together, she needs a real love and not the drama given by Zane. It will also be nice to reunite her with her parents and she can be her self old instead of this poor bakery owner. She needs to shine and not hide anymore and be reunited with her family

Love it! Would love it if Cam and Lacey find their partners for life as well. Maybe even together… And for Emilia and Liam to actually get marry and soon to have kids. And for Tessa and Aaron to change their minds about not to have kids of their own. And for Emilia to make up with here family. Hope they miss her and still love her as they should. And for Liam’s mother til apologizing to Emilia and Liam.

Loved the story. Pain, healing, love. Real characters. Trauma is real, but so is healing. Loved how the characters more multidimensional, multiracial. That’s real life. Sexual orientation be damned. Love is love and sometimes, even death doesn’t end it. But life goes on as the author clearly showed in the story lines. Appreciated the author took the time to know about the sport, how trauma feels, redemption, and self love. Mature writing. Well done, very well done! Love

Bueno, llevo más de 40 capítulos y me gusta la historia. Todavía hay cosas y situaciones que no entiendo, pero espero que la autora los aclare conforme avance la novela. Por lo pronto los personajes principales me gustan sus personalidades y que Emilia haya sacado la fiera que hay en ella y se haya enpoderado sobre su ex. Liam bueno sigue siendo un tío guaperas misterioso. Se me ha hecho un poco extravagante el tema de la boda y sobretodo como es que no hay familia de Zane abordo.

I’m really enjoying this novel. The characters are more realistic than others I’ve read. There’s dimension and depth making them more interesting and that makes me care more about them. Often I read something and I have to quit because it gets ridiculous and so unrealistic that nothing really fits or makes sense to buy into it enough to truly enjoy. Even though I’ve read this plot before and I think I know what’s going to happen I’m still hooked and looking forward to reading it.

What begins as a convenient arrangement slowly unravels into something far more complicated and heartfelt. The fake relationship trope is handled with freshness, balancing humor with emotional depth as both characters confront their vulnerabilities. Their chemistry feels natural, and the gradual shift from pretense to genuine affection is deeply satisfying. A delightful, feel-good love story with warmth and a charm.

I absolutely loved this book! At times it can be quite challenging in terms of triggers, because a lot of characters deal with shady people. But the plot twists and the absolute marshmallow of a main male lead makes this story absolutely worth it. I particularly enjoyed the realness of the emotions. So ignore how some settings make no sense (like salty air on a sweet water lake) and immerse yourself in this hockey themed how to get over your ex! Promise it will be worth it :)

I’m enjoying this story so far. Such a fun story line. Great fun chemistry between them. Love how they seem so relaxed with each other and help one and other with their past relationships. Leiam is so amazing and encouraging helping her realize her personal worth is more than her crap of an ex tried to convince her otherwise. Can’t wait to see how she reshapes her life to what she really wants. I see a complete change and renewed freedom in her future with real love.

So far I’m loving the story. I do wish both of them would just sit down and actually talk about their feelings and redefine it, so they don’t always go back to whatever the contact states. I’m excited to hear more about both their backstories in the coming chapters. Hope they both find happiness, hopefully in each other. Zane is a real narcissist and I hope his finance leaves him before the wedding and when she realizes just how unkind he is!
