The story is interesting and easy to follow. I like seeing an evolving main character and watching her grow with every written chapter. Annie is a strong and lovable person and I'm curious to see who she ends up with, as both of the male characters have their pros and cons. I'd love for the chapters to be longer so that I could enjoy it more. However the editing has to improve much more as the word "muttering" is read almost every sentence.

This story is very shuttle.the characters are great. I like the way the MC is sweetbut grounded. Evan is great though a little confusing sometimes but at the end they are teenagers so they have the liberty to live free. Only the mother had serious problems and why doesn't no one complained to the authorities. I mean child abuse is crime how come the school counselor also not notice. Evan should have told his mom for help. Mike I am sure will do better

I can't stand an abusive parent I think Annie's mother needs some help she is going through a lot as well..you cannot give birth to a child only to abuse it for all her or his life.. but I think I like Evan for Annie because he knows what's going on with Annie's life..Mike is clueless..and Evan cares a lot about Annie he was feeding her as well because he can see she is not well looked after.. but it's Annie's choice she can chose who ever she wants cz she is still young and worried that she is gonna get hurt..but why can't Evan report Annie's mother to social workers so she can get help

This novel is beautiful acould read all day if only this ads would stop otherwise the novel is amazing the way that character in story act it's well written but some things keep on happening like the way Annie mother keeps on abusing her am wondering what will happen and how it will stop also am wonder who she will end up choosing between Evan and mack also l think Evan should give time for her to decide who she what's to be with.

Love reading about Annie & Evan. It's interesting how their relationship develops. Annie starts as an invisible quiet girl, and Evan takes her under his wing, almost without realising it. It's nicely written with the different perspectives and you get to see Annie grow via different angles. Her mother is a bitter pull to work with... I hope Annie ends up ok! Will she develop some good female friendships? Or will she just have Mike and Evan? I'm so keen to find out!

At this point the story is really harsh, the poor girl has been abandoned and constantly let down by all she dared and cared about. Mother who cannot accept her own child, daughter who loves her unconditionally. Then her peers always withdrawing her and judging her by her appearance, and not caring enough to see that behind the closed doors she's being abused physically and verbally. I hope the next chapters will bring a lot of goodness to that poor girl and she finally find safe space, happy home and people who will love her unconditionally.

This book has me hooked as a can’t stop reading, her mother need strung up for the abuse she is given her daughter can’t believe a mother could do such a thing breaks my heart 💔, a feel as everyone has some sort of a goal to hurt her as she’s so weak a hope she starts to fight back. A can’t stop reading but dread what the poor girl will receive in the next chapter to come

Honestly...The novel is nice...The story explores a teen girl who's being abused come out of her shell after being abused,bullied and called ugly for years...It's nice that now she has someone...2 people who care for her and would go to any lengths to make her happy...I am curious of what is going to happen next like who's she gonna choose...Mike or Evan or is she gonna choose to be alone or her mother is going to find out and do something...Is the mom gonna be arrested or what?I hope to find it out soon

I love how the characters are evolving. The main character Annie is realising she is not alone in the world and she has these friends who are there to help and support her. It is funny reading how Evan is getting to know he is not the love em and leave them type and he is catching serious feelings for Annie, Mike is a kind hearted soul who wants the best for Annie but loves winding his friend up and is trying to make his best friend realise what he is missing.
