The plot is interesting though very slow moving. The main two characters just keep doing this awkward dance about. We're meeting new characters with background info given but they have yet to become very relevant. still , it seems in some areas the author is just filling space. I think if you have the time to kill than this book can be a decent read.i do hope that the story starts to pick up a little bit more. There are some areas where grammar could be edited.

Hey dear writer I loved this story so much. I would be happy if there was a continuation, maybe into the lives of their children in the future (when they are adults). When I first started reading the story, I didn't expect it to be this good. I couldn't stop reading it.So I really hope it has a sequel. I'm not interested in Armani's life in the future. I connected less with Blair's character, but I really liked the characters of James, Sophia, and of course Luca. Thank you

I really live Mafia novels. I know sometimes they can be mean and overbearing however I like the idea of a family protecting each other. I like the way this book is written and the characters. I like what I have read so far and look forward to finishing it. Definitely worth a read. Enjoy!!!!!¡¡!!!!!!!¡!!!!!! I like to picture them as handsome men too. Lllllllooooooivvvvvvveeee it

This is just stretching too long. Repeating one thing over and over.... one scene stretches too long. Explaining one thing over a chapter is just too much. I enjoyed this in the beginning, but I think after getting this bonus points I'm looking for another story. This is painfully boring. I am not longer listening for a long time coz I get bored and stop. Bye bye, I cannot allow you to torture me with your story any more. Enough!

I really don't know how to feel about the book. I have tho8ght of stopping to read it a thousand times before getting g to this point and I honestly don't know why I'm still listening / reading it 🤔. I will definately need to leave a follow up review once I finish it, if I will finish it. It is taking way too long to get to any point. The chapters are not cheap and yet they just give unnecessary details that don't add value to the story at all

So far this author goes into great detail with her characters and the stories. The author doesn’t jump into moments rather allows the readers to reflect on a slow burn of what one may interpret to come. I would say that a slow burn has its own rewards but when the burn is stretched out unnecessarily than the reader is more prone to want to leave the book alone. Writing is not easy at all and when getting a message out it takes so much thank you for your hard work!

It started so interesting but it's dwindling, I am holding on and hoping the book gets more exciting. It has quite alot of unnecessary details and I don't know how much longer I'll be reading this one, but hopefully it gets better. Luca and Sofia are just pisssing me off for grown ass people they sure ass hell lack communication skills. I expected much more from Luca since he is older and the head of a mafia but jahh very much childish like Sofia.

On chapter 41 and enjoying it so far. As with many of these novels….spell check and checking grammar would be best suited before publishing novels online. I’m not great at either but I know how to use each if it’s an important document. I like having both POV but after 41 chapters, the backstory should be mainly over and some progress should be made. I get she’s 18 and scared but it’s starting to drag on. I’m giving it a few more chapters so I’ll write another review if I end this novel early or finish it.
