The plot is interesting though very slow moving. The main two characters just keep doing this awkward dance about. We're meeting new characters with background info given but they have yet to become very relevant. still , it seems in some areas the author is just filling space. I think if you have the time to kill than this book can be a decent read.i do hope that the story starts to pick up a little bit more. There are some areas where grammar could be edited.

I loved the storyline and overall it’s a good book. However, it would have been better without the grammatical errors and typos. I noticed it earlier in the first few chapters, and it was consistent throughout the entire book. I was silently making the corrections as I read, because it was truly a good story. With lots of interesting and intriguing scenes. Additionally, the chapters although interesting were very short. I think it could have been more impactful if a few of the chapters were merged into one (just an opinion). The author did a great job with the plot. I would definitely like to read it again.

I love this so much like it’s just the beginning even though it’s a long book you have to take there you will understand but so far is a very good book and when you read it and you start or it might be boring it is actually a very good book to understand And it’s very interesting in like a mystery in the book so you just have to keep reading to find out more new things

I'm not far in to be honest and the start is intriguing makes you want to follow the story to its conclusion and charcter arcs mafia love obviously otherwise why'd you click on it and start reading 'but somewhere in middle and more heading towards the middle I guess 🤔 it stops off abit if you like lots of dialogue its very very slow burn so far I guess you'd call it that I can see the author is maybe trying to set the stage but so far that's what I've gotten...

Good story line with interesting characters. The characters in this novel could be developed a bit more but it still works. WHY I RATED THIS NOVEL AS I DID!!! My biggest problem is the fact that it was listed in the audiobook section but the audio wasn’t completed before I got to read that the last few chapters and had to read it instead. This is a disappointment against both the developers of the app and the author to allow unfinished work that people pay to read to be accessible. The second disappointment was the number or spelling mistakes, wrong words used and broken sentences. These should be read by a proofreader before publishing. If I was buying a book in the shops that was badly written like this I would return it for a refund. But this app makes you pay for rubbish that works out to be 5 times the price of a paperback book with no recourse.

I love the dynamic of the book. I hope Sophia calms down and gives him a chance to show he will not hurt her. I hope her dad and mom get an ass beating for selling her off for his debts. I hope her little brother doesn’t into to much trouble. His right hand man James seems to be a good guy also. I want to know what is happening with the house keeper health, I hope it isn’t to serious

I had hope and I was so excited to start this book but It is really really a slow burn. When will they act like a married couple. I am still not happy that Luca is sleeping with other girls while his wife is sitting at home. It's really fair no matter how. I'm also nervous about his second in-command he is acting dodgy. Otherwise they really need to fix their relationship because I'm tired of their roommate situation. They need to communicate better.

I am 40 chapters into this novel and the plot seems to be developing slowly. I would like to see more of the story line between the two main characters rather than the emphasis on the kidnapping. James in an interesting character and the way the men interact keeps the story somewhat interesting, but I hope the pace of the story line picks up soon. This has the potential to be a good story but right now there are a lot of loose ends.

It's a slow burner but I'm loving it so far I know she didn't want to marry him but she is married to him and Sofia needs to either talk to him about how she feels cos they can't carry on like this she sees more of her bodyguards than she does her husband it's ridiculous they both need to sit down get everything out in the open she's scared of him he's older than her she was forced into the marriage but they need to resolve the issue
