The Devil's Playground Reviews

I don't entirely know how I feel about ' The Devil's Playground ' - - A part of me liked the book because of the storyline, mystery and intrigue - - but, another part of me feels as though the writing was a bit too stiff. Which made me easily bored / distracted, causing me to lose interest at times. All in all, I think I would give it a 6.5 out of 10.

It was ok. A lot of the wording was so formal. It made it quite boring. I would have loved to see a different ending or at least made the ending more interesting. Explain why Talis was making the gifts better. Storyline for the children? It was overall just lacking the umph that keeps you interested. I actually stopped reading halfway through and forgot about it until today and decided id finish and see if it was any good. It just didn't do it for me.
