I just loved this. It had me reading nonstop, it is wonderful. The guy's you had to feel for them. To take care of your family and to make more. To look to the future, to make all packs happy and have peace. What happened to the mother? Would have liked for her to be in the fight ! This novel I will share and tell they should read. It is confusing, joy, sadness and a lot of loving.

The characters in the novel are a true highlight. Each character is expertly crafted, possessing a depth that adds layers to the unfolding drama. The dynamics between the protagonists are nuanced and evolve organically, keeping the reader invested in their journey. Yukiro skillfully navigates the intricacies of relationships, bringing authenticity to the characters' emotions and interactions. Yukiro's writing style is elegant and evocative, creating a seamless flow that immerses the reader in the world of "Subduing the Alpha." The author's attention to detail is evident in the vivid descriptions and atmospheric settings, enhancing the overall reading experience. The balance between action, suspense, and romance is expertly maintained, ensuring that the story unfolds at a pace that keeps readers eagerly turning the pages.

I am really like it so far. The story line is different from any others I have read. It keeps me engaged and anticipating what will happen next. So far, it was very different from other werewolf novels that I have read. The author does a great job of world building without being so detailed that you can’t use your own imagination for it. I don’t have a lot of spare time for reading so when I find something I like it brings me joy that I’m not wasting my spare time on something boring.

I’m still trying to find the words to describe how this book made me feel. It was an absolute masterclass in emotional tension. The way the author explored Kai's vulnerability and Cedric's steady devotion had me in all my feels more than once. It’s rare to find a story that balances heightened emotions and uncertainty with such a tender, believable romance. Their journey wasn't easy, but every hard-won moment of happiness felt earned. This is a must-read.

great story and truly wonderful writing. the suspense is killing me and i really hope that Kai finds who he’s really supposed to be with before Derek tries to kill Cedric. Honestly think that Cedric should just tell him the truth. i really think that waiting for Kai to be “ready” isn’t a great plan. He might just be super upset about having not know the truth from the beginning that he may reject Cedric and still leave with Derek.

It leaves readers eager for the next electrifying chapter ahead.

I really enjoyed this overall. The pacing is a bit slow at times, but not enough to pull me out of the story. It’s still incredibly engaging. And I have to say, the gay slow-burn-into-sex setup? Absolutely loved it. It adds charm, tension, and just the right amount of build-up to make the payoff hit perfectly. And I love how it has Cedric following Kai’s wishes despite just wanting to fuck him. And how Derrick confesses

I Like the story so far, I just wish he would tell him that he’s his mate. even though he’s still younger than him. Him not knowing it’s just making him more confused about why he likes being around him and touching on him. I hope he just figures it his mate is next to him. before he finds out that he’s messing with his beta. because Alpha get possessive so I don’t want them to have a fight.

This is a wonderfull book about Kai, Cedric and Derreck. How they find each other, how they survive together against the evil alpha vuvaskin and their start together as alpha’s of a big pack. Would love to read more about how their lives will continue. Whit their adopted children and their own children they will get whit Anita. Would love to read more about Anita as well, who just had found her destinaties mate, how they will live after the birth of the children

This story offers interesting character development for two main characters as they explore the extent of their mate bond. Watching the growth of the mate bond before it can be fully sensed by both partners is a new twist to this mate recognition process. It is quite a different experience to watch. Seeing the slightly older partner have the knowledge and more power in this relationship places the relationship could put the story in an uncomfortable place for some readers, but there are content warnings and the story does offer the time and grace for the relationship to develop in a natural way for the two main characters.
