It was quite sad what happened with Lan at the end but it was still an amazing novel. Vasuki did give loving but manipulative vibes since he was introduced so I am not too surprised at his actions. I hoped that Lan would awaken his memories so that they could try to overcome everything together but I also know why he did not. The novel was a fun read and I certainly plan to reread it at least another three times. The plot was brilliant and the characters had undergone positive character development.
