Doctor of Darkness 1 - Cold as Ice Reviews

It took me a few chapters to get into it initially but really enjoying it now. The chapters are longer than some others within the app, which I love. I like how the backstories of the characters are added slowly throughout the story. I appreciate that it is told from different characters perspectives at times too, personally I would like it to be done more often, but I am gripped and cannot put it down. Excited to see where the story goes.

This is an interesting idea and I’m enjoying the book very much. I like the take on vampires and other “monsters” that this book offers. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the story and hopefully the characters are incorporated into more books going forward as I am invested in them. Can’t wait to see what happens next and see how this turns out. Highly recommend reading this book to anyone interested in any form of fantasy.

I loved this story! It was very creative and very well written. The characters were very easy to fall in love with, especially the little girl after she woke up! The story was mysterious, but didn't drag on. It had good flow. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and learning their story. The author is obviously very good at what she does. I am so excited to continue reading this series, and anymore books she may come out with!

Overall SO GOOD I'm going to start the next book sooner rather than later. The leads were spot on and never felt overly maxed out where they just weren't fun to read about. I would (and did) spend so much on coins becaus it just transports you. I would love to see a book just about vlad. He Said what he said and meant what he said 😉 I can not recommend this story enough ten outta ten stars got me

Until I finish the sequence I would make a full review. Since this is the very first part I need a full understanding of the story. As said this is the first part it won't be logical to write one now. On the other hand I did like the plot. Even knowing that a human no matter what can't be more powerful than a supernatural being. That's why they are on top. Having especial powers and what not. Let's get real. 👍

I am really enjoying this book. I love reading about vampires & this book not only gives me vampires, it also has werewolves, nymphs, lycans & much more. When I’m reading, I can picture the story in my mind. I believe the author has done a wonderful job in writing this book. The author has written every detail so precisely. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book to see what happens to the doctor and the vampire

This story has great flow and perspective. The character's personalities are showcased with well written interactions and thoughts. I am thoroughly enjoying the story line and hope to find stories from other character POVs. Vlad needs his own story. Vici needs an origin story. I look forward to seeing a "fated" mate/beloved perspective unfold. I wouldn't be surprised if this story leads to Selena not being 100% human. Fingers crossed she realizes her worth a day doesn't push them all away.

OI can’t say enough about the finely drawn characters and suspenseful plot twists. Selena may be my new favorite heroine. The conflicts between the characters were surprising as the antagonists hid in plain sight. The author’s use of “current “ movies and current events made the setting more realistic and her writing style made me wonder “what if this could be true?”. I was drawn in to this make believe world she created. The love story was a lovely backdrop to a beautiful set of plot twists! I heartily recommend this read.

The plot is interesting and the characters need a little more depth but generally speaking it’s pretty good overall and I love the way it is written so far I think the line could use emotion and a bit more depth to vici character and I like the concept of the character lands at least the story is more interesting and less chaotic sex it actually feels more like a romance story than a porn You have done a good job so far
